Get up early to meet your driver and small group at your Siem Reap hotel. At Angkor Wat, you’ll purchase a ticket at the park’s gate, arriving in time to see sunrise above the 12th-century temple complex.

From there, continue to the fortified city of Angkor Thom, entering through a causeway flanked with gods and demons.
