Itinerary

Upon arrival in Sihanoukville, we will meet you at either Sihanoukville Port Gate 1 or the Independence Monument, depending on your cruise’s drop-off location. Please take the complimentary shuttle bus from your cruise ship to the designated meeting point.

Your tour begins at the Independence Monument, built in 1985 to honor Cambodia’s independence and fallen heroes. Featuring a traditional Khmer lotus-shaped stupa, it stands as a symbol of national pride. Next, visit Tomnub Rolork - Koh Preap Pier, a bustling fishing port that provides insight into the local way of live and economy.

Continue to Phsar Leu Market, Sihanoukville’s vibrant marketplace, where you can experience daily life and shop for fresh produce, seafood, and traditional crafts. Then, explore Wat Krom Pagoda, a serene hilltop Buddhist temple offering panoramic views of Sihanoukville City and the Gulf of Thailand and home to a large reclining Buddha.

Drive past the iconic Golden Lions Roundabout before stopping at the Statue of Preah Thong and Neang Neak, a 27-meter-tall monument honoring the legendary founders of the Khmer people.

Nak was the best guide ever! He speaks great English, took us to the most unique spots, including a fisherman market and an awesome resort for lunch and a really fun shopping market. We are so so lucky to have gotten him and we would highly recommend him.

A wonderful Cambodian adventure

Had an amazing adventure with our guide Nak!! He is so knowledgeable and explained the history of Cambodia which was so interesting. He took us everywhere we wanted to go. We visited where the fishermen work, ice house, and spoke with the locals. The Cambodian market was so interesting and we ate at Sokha restaurant, so beautiful!! We would highly recommend Nak!!

Great day in Sihanoukville

We had the pleasure of touring Sihanoukville with Sophy as our guide, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. He met us promptly at the cruise port, making the pick-up process seamless and stress-free. Sophy took us to see the local fishermen in action, which was fascinating and gave us a genuine glimpse into their daily lives. He then guided us to a beautiful waterfall, where we enjoyed the serene surroundings, and later a vibrant local market filled with fresh fruit and other goods. One of the highlights of the day was Sophy finding a local woman to cook fresh-caught shrimp for us. It was a simple but unforgettable meal that captured the authentic flavors of the area. In addition, we visited a couple of lovely temples that were both peaceful and culturally rich. To top it all off, Sophy ensured we had some time to relax on a picturesque beach before heading back. Sophy was knowledgeable, personable, and went above and beyond to tailor the tour to our interests. If you're looking for an authentic and enjoyable experience in Sihanoukville, we highly recommend him! Thank you, Sophy, for a fantastic day! ????????????????????

A must do tour if visiting Sihanoukville especially via a cruise ship

If you are visiting Sihanoukville especially via a cruise ship then this tour is a must. Our guide Chhum was outstanding, his knowledge of the area was excellent and he took great care of us throughout the entire trip. As well as all the fascinating local sights he was more than happy to share with us the interesting but sometimes tragic stories of Cambodia's recent past. We were transported in a great, private vehicle with a very sensible and safety conscious driver which we greatly appreciated. If you are visiting Sihanoukville and want to see the most interesting sights with a stop at a stunning beach then you must book this tour, we cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you Chhum, you made our day in Sihanoukville an excellent one!

Day at Sihanoukville

Our tour was very interesting and our guide Nak was super helpful. Nak was very insightful and has given us a lot of interesting information. Nak also offered us a number of additional options as we wanted to spend time by the beach at the end. He waited for us until we finished.

This will cover it ….

There’s not very much to see in Sihanoukville so this is the best way to see it all quickly. Our tour guide Nak was excellent . He spoke very good English and as an ex monk very knowledgeable about the temples and monks way of life. We saw a fishing village, the independence monument and a temple and the beach. It was a good way to spend a few hours off the ship.

Great day in Sihanoukville, Cambodia

We had a fantastic 6 hour private tour with Nak Chum as our amazing tour guide in Sihanoukville, Cambodia. We learned a lot about Khmer culture from Nak. Highlights were the Buddhist temples and a taste of local culture. The Van was nicely air conditioned and easily fit all five us who were traveling together. Overall a great day!!

Great day trip off our cruise ship. Nak was the best guide!!

The entire process was super smooth from pickup off of our cruise ship and returning us back. We packed in all we wanted to see and had a lovely day. But the highlight of our visit was that we had the best, kindest guide who was so knowledgeable. Nak made sure to tailor our visit to our interests and abilities including for my elderly aunt. We loved hearing about Cambodia’s rich history and culture from someone so passionate and thoughtful. We could not recommend Nak or the tour any more highly and we take a lot of tours all over the world. Thank you so much!! Stephanie Snyder
