Itinerary

Upon arrival in Sihanoukville, we will meet you at either Sihanoukville Port Gate 1 or the Independence Monument, depending on your cruise’s drop-off location. Please take the complimentary shuttle bus from your cruise ship to the designated meeting point.

Your tour begins at the Independence Monument, built in 1985 to honor Cambodia’s independence and fallen heroes. Then, explore Wat Krom Pagoda, a serene hilltop Buddhist temple offering panoramic views of Sihanoukville City and the Gulf of Thailand and home to a large reclining Buddha.

Drive past the iconic Golden Lions Roundabout before stopping at the Statue of Preah Thong and Neang Neak, a 27-meter-tall monument honoring the legendary founders of the Khmer people.

Great overview of Sihankoukville

We had a great highlight tour of Sihanoukville with Nak. He expertly guided us to the sites on the itinerary and educated us about their significance. He offered lots of additional information and perspective about Cambodia, it's history, culture and religions, especially Buddhism. Nak handled our group and time table well, with lots of smiles, laughter and caring. A great day!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Incredible Tour with Nak – A Day We’ll Never Forget!

Our family just returned from the Sihanoukville Highlights Day Tour from Cruise Port, and it was nothing short of spectacular—thanks to our amazing guide, Nak! From the very first greeting at the port, Nak exuded warmth and professionalism. He greeted us with refreshing cold towels and bottled water—and that caring attitude followed us throughout the day . Nak’s knowledge of Khmer culture and Cambodian history is profound. He shared fascinating insights during our visits to Wat Krom and the floating fishing village—drawing on his unique background as a former monk to help us understand the spiritual and daily life nuances of the region . Visiting during the wet season, he explained with ease how the changing seasons impact life on the water . What really stood out was his flexibility and personalized care. We mentioned wanting a nice lunch and Nak happily adjusted the itinerary—waiting patiently while we enjoyed a fantastic lunch before gently guiding us back to the van . His English was impeccable, enabling engaging conversations and plenty of photo ops. He even escorted my grandson through temple grounds, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and included . Beyond logistics and commentary, Nak clearly loved sharing his homeland. His enthusiasm was infectious—we ended the day feeling connected to Cambodia’s rich past and vibrant present. The tour ran like clockwork, with smooth, seamless port pick-up and drop-off. We loved visiting the fishing village, stunning temples, and ending with a relaxing moment by the beach. We’ve taken tours all over the world—but Nak ranks among the very best guides we’ve ever had. If you’re cruising into Sihanoukville, don’t miss this tour—and ask for Nak. A million thank-yous, Nak, for making our day truly unforgettable!

SanRafael,

Highly recommended Sihanoukville tour!

Fabulous tour guide who was kind, attentive to the groups’ desires, and answered all of our questions. He gave us the history of Cambodia, weaving it in to events happening around the world at the time to provide context. Very informative.

Don’t miss a great day, well organised

The trip was great. We had personal service from our guide Chhum or Oceanfrog. He looked after us extremely well, was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. His English was fantastic, a real asset. The places he took us were informative of the area and he ensured we went at the correct times when they were less crowded. He also escorted and stayed with us until the port shuttle arrived.

Good and interesting tour made. Recommended!

It was good to see Saigon with 'Oceanfrog' through this operator. He is a friendly, correct and above all caring guide who knows well what we would like to see and adapts his information well to what the group is interested in. The bus driver all us smoothly and safely around. The bus was of very respectable age but the air conditioning worked well and it was also needed. Thank you for this lovely experience! Recommended!
