This was a beautiful and historic place to visit. We had a great guide, great lunch and a great group to spend the day with on our visit.

It was a pleasant afternoon with a guide who had knowledge. I am naturally a nervous person and cannot swim so for me to go on a lake that looked like an ocean at times was daunting. However, always learning something new is good for mind and soul. To see others way of a very basic and simple life, is food for thought. We were offered to try crocodile and snake roast, needless to say, I was not brave enough to give it a try - seeing them in the farm staring back was good enough ????

We loved this trip with Mr Nak our guide along with 9 others Nak was very enthusiastic, informative and enjoys his job as a tour guide He was friendly and polite to everyone and helpful The floating village is wonderful and the Lake is very huge and beautiful. Despite the heat we all enjoyed the trip.

到着口を出ると、タクシー会社の人々に囲まれます。結局どのタクシー会社を使っても20ドルです。安く済ませるには乗り合いの仲間を探すしかありません。ホテルから空港へも20ドルでした。観光客相手のタクシーは、どうしても金額が高めになります。

Interesante ver la construcción de sus casas teniendo en cuenta los meses de lluvias y los secos que provocan una gran diferencia de nivel de agua. El criadero de cocodrilos es muy turístico aunque interesante.

Eravamo un po' scettici pensando di trovare un posto super turistico, invece in giro per il villaggio c eravamo solo noi. Guida disponibile e preparata. Avendo visitato il villaggio durante la stagione secca abbiamo potuto camminare per la strada. Un'esperienza che ci sentiamo di consigliare.

Very good ticket delivery system, I was a little sceptical but it all went well with no trouble.Driver and guide arrived at 4.30 as arranged.And I must add our guide, San, was superb. He was passionate about the temples and all things Cambodia!! His knowledge was quite incredible and he informed us clearly all the way round. He knew all the best viewpoints and his photography skills were excellent. If you read this San, 10 out of 10 for you sir!!

We decided to purchase our tickets in advance for sunrise access, and working with this company was relatively seemless. I say relatively because my one criticism which I shared with them was the amount of times they asked for recent photos. I counted 4,One of which came after I was told the photos would work. We provided recent passport photos, as they were taken less than 30 days prior. It was difficult to get a response about my request for receipt of pdf of the ticket to view for accuracy, and frankly I was concerned about the photo requests being asked for for some other reason. In the end, I shared the feedback and got a response of computer glitch. It was odd. The tickets did end up as stated at our hotel and worked at all sites, including access for sunrise. It was painless getting around, but multiple ticket checkers commented on the photo ( I have no idea why). Sath was great in helping ensure the timely arrival. Overall, I’d recommend them but couldn’t give the 5 stars due to communication lags and the issue with requesting the photos. ( I want to be clear that what we sent and followed all instructions provided, it just seemed ( fill in blank) that this would be requested so many times)

The trip to Kompong Phluk on the bank on Tonle Sap (Lake) in Siem Reap was not only interesting to see how the villagers cope with seasonal flooding of their village during the monsoon months( April to September) when the lake overflows with water brought down from the Himalayas by the Mekong River ... that's why all the houses are built on stilts. We visited the Kompong on December 27 (dry season) and the place was dry and dusty; and the little children have to climb up high ladders with their school bags.We had a very friendly guide who explained in clear English what to expect during the 45-minute drive to the lake and also explained how Tonle Sap is the world's largest fresh water lake that rules the lives and livelihood of people miles around. Our guide Choub was also very obliging when we asked to be taken to see a local market not visited by tourists. We got to experience the sights, sound and smells of the bustling market where we saw people selling freshly caught catfish, dragoon fish, etc as well as smoked and fermented fish paste. The walk through the village enabled us to visit a small 'school' taught by a volunteer teacher and the children were eager to learn where we came from and what we eat, etc. Great to be able to interact with the children direct and get a glimpse of their daily activities and what they want to be when they are adults.
