Itinerary

After pickup from your Siem Reap hotel, travel to the Angkor Archaeological Park in the comfort of an air-conditioned minivan. Once you’ve purchased your entrance tickets (not included), set out on a guided tour of the ancient temples.

Start by marveling at the much-photographed temple of Angkor Wat and hear the fascinating history of the Khmer Empire as you follow your guide around the impressively preserved ruins. Continue to the walled temple complex of Angkor Thom, pass through the grand South Gate, and visit architectural highlights including Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of Leper King. After breaking for lunch (own expense), admire the overgrown ruins of Ta Phrom and discover why it’s nicknamed the “Jungle Temple.”

Great tour guide Called Chet and great full packed day!

If I’m Siem Reap you have to do this tour!!! Our tour guide was called Chet and he showed us round all the sites. He was beyond amazing. Went above and beyond for our group and gave excellent information and new a lot about the history. We went round in a group of 5, 2 English, 2 American and 1 Korean and Chet was so attentive to all of us. He is also a fabulous and enthusiastic photographer, so if your solo/ couple/ family/ group he is more than happy to get loads of cool shots and panorama pics of you all on your phones. Chet speaks fluent English, so he is able to answer any questions and go in to detail with information. It was a really relaxed, fun and interesting day. 100percent recommend this tour and Chet the tour guide.

Excellent tour...without the sunrise.

Chet is an excellent tour guide and brought us around in the blistering heat, although unsure if the sunrise was worth it as we were left to our devices at Angkor wat for about three hours, as we were returning to tour the place again in the afternoon....having said that the afternoon tour was definitely worth it! So all in all we’ve learnt a lot about Angkor wat and have had many photos taken by Chet doubling as a photographer (panoramic photographer, to be precise). Only the heat... unforgiving!
