Tonle Sap Lake and Kampong Phluk Half-Day Tours from Siem Reap (4-5h)

I booked the trip last night, it was a quick trip with a few great options. Phearom was great in telling the small group about Kompong Phluk and Tonle Sap Lake and the work that they do. Great door to door service.

Unbelievable experience. Mr. Sokvivhet Chin was a great guide. Up the river in a crazy old noat, so much fun, to the lake and stopping by the village on stilts. It doesn’t get any better in Siem Reap. Authentic, rustic, real, rough in places but part of the adventure. Do the canoe part, it is a must. No other way to say it, it’s the best !!!

Great tour and great way to learn about the culture and people. Definitely something unique and very interesting. Our tour guide was Mr. Phearom, he was able to answer all of our questions. We enjoyed it!

I booked the trip less than 24 hours in advance, but received confirmation immediately. The guide and driver were waiting for my wife and I at our hotel lobby promptly at 07:30 the next day for the morning tour. We then collected another patron from a different hotel on the way to Kompong Phluk, arriving just before 10:00 (with a few stops along the way for photos, at our request). The guide certainly made the trip extra special. He was welcoming, funny and informative, and clearly passionate about the village and it's inhabitants. We later found out he and his father had both grown up nearby, confirming the authenticity of his passion. It was well worth paying an extra $5 at the village to be taken around in a boat through the forest by a local. It was a great experience. Expect to support the locals by spending a few dollars at the floating shops to buy some cold drinks. During the trip, I was taking some footage from my drone, when it suddenly disconnected above the lake! The boat driver, without missing a beat, jumped into a nearby boat and paddled off to retrieve it before it got wet!! My eternal thanks to our boat driver for this! Great half day trip, well worth it. Would highly recommend.

I had a great time on this tour. Everything was on time and generally well organized. I will admit that the group was a bit bigger than I expected (more than 15-20 people) but it didn't impact the quality of the tour because the boats are large enough so that everyone was very comfortable. The floating village was amazing and you got to walk through one of the villages as well. I would recommend doing the canoeing because it is beautiful at sunset and very peaceful. Lastly, all of the tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely do this tour again.

Phearom was a very accommodating and knowledgeable guide. The tour itinerary was standard, pleasant, and comfortable. It was Phearom and his enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine enjoyment for his work that really made it a great afternoon.

Unlike any tour or excursion I've been on! The lake in Siem Reap is a breathtaking and eye opening sight. Our tour guide Vichet Chin was wonderful and gave us so much knowledge on the area and was very kind! The fishing village and the $5 kayak through the mangroves was a must!

Gr8 tour highly recommended and the tour guide Mr. Chin is so good he has good knowledge of the history quite entertaining and very pleasant.
