Siem Reap-Sambor Prei Kuk Homestay-Phnom Penh (2 Days-1 Night)

Day 1 – Siem Reap to Sambor Prei Kuk 
We will pick up you from your hotel at 8am and bring you in a private car. We will go to Kampong Thom Province, East of Siem Reap. A two hours drive through a beautiful countryside will take us to the central city. Then we will continue to a rural village where we will meet our host family. We will have lunch at the homestay, then we will ride bicycles to go to Sambor Prei Kuk. This is the setting of the most impressive group of pre-Angkorian monuments anywhere in Cambodia. There are more than 100 small temples, scattered through the forest. Originally called Isanapura, was the capital of the Kingdom of Chenla during the reign of the early 7th century. This city continued to be an important center of scholarship during the Angkorian period.
In the evening, we will help the farmer to cook our dinner before sharing a friendly meal all together.

Day 2 – Sambor Prei Kuk to Phnom Penh 
After breakfast at the hosts, we will spend some time at the village area. Following your interest, we will visit one of these villages to see the craftsmen at work and be able to purchase beautiful handicrafts. Then, we will go back to the city of Kompong Thom to have lunch on your own account.
In the afternoon, we will take a private car to Phnom Penh. On the way, we will stop at the Skun. If you are very hungry or just looking for an eccentric dessert, you will get the chance to taste the local specialty, the delicious famous fried spiders (Tarantula called a ping in Khmer).
