Phnom Penh to Siem Reap by Private Car or Minivan (5h)

Had the pleasure to have Mr Naven as my driver to take me from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap.The journey was very good with convenient stops that were interesting places, stopping at spider market and Spean Preah Bridge Mr Naven spoke very good English and his knowledge that he passed on about the areas we passed through was very good and informative Happy, friendly and helpful service that I would definitely use again

I booked a private car transfer Phnom Penh through trip.com who made the reservation with Green Era Travel - I’m sure you could book direct with them. I was picked up at 07:30 at my hotel and dropped at the door of the hotel in Siem Reap around 14:00. The journey included a 30 minute lunch stop at a large restaurant that caters for cars and coaches travelling between the two cities (good food). The car was an SUV which was in good condition and the driver was happy telling me about Cambodia and what we were passing. I never felt unsafe with his driving. Before going to Cambodia I asked friends who had previously been to both cities on what the best way to travel was and they said to fly, who wants to sit in a car all day. When I looked at travel times an prices there was little difference between the two when you take into account travel times to / from airports (45 minutes at Siem Reap) and check-in times before flight and cost. If doing the journey again I would still take the car.

Our driver arrived early and greeted us with a smile. He quickly loaded our luggage and chatted with us, answering our questions with good English. He took us to the “Spider Market,” the 7 Eleven and the Naga Bridge. We learned so much and had a great time! He was terrific!

Super guide , le transfert s’est bien déroulé avec les arrêts nécessaires , nous sommes même arrêté, visiter un pont et un marché aux araignées sur la route.

Everything went smoothly. Driver came on time, and adviced us for good stops. Minor language challenges but nothing too much.

Toby was an amazing driver. Not only was he calm and considerate but also very helpful in explaining everything and even showing us some interesting sights in the way from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. The car was very comfortable and very clean. From our point of view this is the best way to go from A to B in Cambodia.

Enjoyable drive between Phnom Penh and Siam Reap with Piseth. Piseth arrived on time and was friendly and courteous. He chose a good place for lunch and stopped to allow us to see the “spiders”. Would recommend.
