I selected the afternoon option for this tour since I’d arrived in Siem Reap in the morning and wanted a brief intro to Cambodia. This being the dry season, we missed out on the full experience of a floating village, but that in itself provided an insight to the villagers’ way of life. The boat ride to the floating restaurant, the walk in the village with hundreds of homes on stilts, and our friendly and knowledgeable guide, made the tour interesting and worthwhile.

We took this tour during the dry season so the villages were not floating however it was still very interesting seeing their simple way of life. Our guide Nak was a local so very informative. Would be better to do in wet season.

Picked up right on time, by our excellent guide Choub and driver Borey. Choub was very knowledgeable and helpful explaining everything on the way and at the village. Short stop at a local market, if you are a westerners, you won't forget it, amazing and shocking, in equal measures. We went in the dry season, so drove right to the village and walked through it, a wedding was going on, lots of relative poverty, however all the kids were laughing and smiling, playing in the street. This was followed by a short boat trip to a floating restaurant, which kept crocodiles, , overall a good trip, a great contrast to the temples

the guide showed us around and explained everything, it was very exciting, we were supplied with water. I had fun, it's worth it!

We bought the 3 day pass to Ankor Wat and then hired Mr Kong and his tuc tuc to tour us around Seim Reap as well as 3 trips to many of the temples at Angkor Wat. He was probably the oldest tuc tuc driver with the oldest tuc tuc in town and he has a tour guide level of knowledge to share about it all.His rate was $15 a day we paid him $20 and for that had his total attention and help from temples to laundry! The 3 days of climbing and exploring was a lot of effort (I am 70 the wife 60+) but a worthwhile once in a lifetime experience and 3 days was just right. Thank you Nak fro a great day, enjoyed the market visit of your home village. The back ground information on the Buddest religion was amazing. I went during dry season so water level was low, will return in the wet for more wildlife. The village and school children was a highlight. Over all the day was great and Nak was very knowledgeable about the area, and was very patient and considerate to all our needs. thank you Nak for a great morning

Our visit to this village on stilts near the lake was very memorable and entirely worthwhile. Our guide, Sorphea, did a wonderful job. He was very knowledgeable about this unique area. He took us through a nearby street market and the sights and smells were unforgettable. The visit to the village might have been even better if it were during the wet season, but even this time of year, we were able to take a unique boat ride near the village and out on to the lake. This is an excellent tour for anyone visiting Siem Reap. This is a small group tour and Green Era Travel seems to be a very good choice. However, during participant pickups at the hotels, they have a policy that they will wait for ever, even if a participant is a no show. We waited a full 1/2 hour for a no show. This is unfair to other participants and should be limited to a 10 minute wait. But for this one complaint, I would have given this 5 stars.

Tour ist grundsätzlich gut, mit vielen Infos. Ich hätte mir eine kürzere Mittagspause und etwas mehr Zeit zum Fotografieren gewünscht. Man sollte sich möglichst noch einen zweiten Tag Zeit für diesen wunderbaren Ort nehmen.
