After pick up at 8:30 am, then you will visit L’Artisans d’Angkor, an organization focusing on training unschooled rural youth in traditional handicraft skills. Here you can discover traditional Cambodian handicraft skills and observe the artisans at work.

Then we transfer you to Angkor National park but will stop on the way for you to buy the entrance ticket which is not included in the tour or we will go straight to visit to the picturesque Ta Prohm if you already have ticket. Ta Phrom has been controversially left to the destructive power of the jungle by French archaeologists to demonstrate the awesome power of nature. It has been largely consumed by the jungle and as you will climb through the dilapidated stone structures you will see many giant trees growing out of the top of the temple itself. At every turn you will expect to see Indiana Jones (Lara Croft) step out from behind a fallen pillar around you.

We will also drive 35km north of Siem Reap to the magnificent Banteay Srei temple - the Citadel of women. This is a small Hindu temple, dating back to the 10th century, has three central towers each decorated with superbly intricate reliefs of male and female divinities, carved from pink sandstone contrasting with the main walls made of laterite. While many of Angkor temples are impressive because of their sheer size, Banteay Srei stands out by the quality of craftsmanship on pinkish sandstone.

On the way back, we will drive through many local villages including Preah Dak Village. It is a famous and popular place for souvenirs such as objects and arts. Visitors can discover beautiful places and natural life mixed with souvenirs shops with most things are handmade by villagers from surrounding Angkor National Park.
