Transfer

Overland transfer

Driver was friendly and polite. Picked us up on exact time requested. The driver drove safely for the road conditions However, the driver didn't know where the hotel was or even the street location.

Good for a glimpse of Angkor Wat

There were 11 people in the group. Our tour guide, San, was very nice and eager to explain many things. He also has a very interesting background with unicef. I would have given the tour 5* if not for some of the people in the group: 1. A couple brought their sick kid and of course were always late / lost despite the group going slower to accommodate them; 2. A few people refused to eat anything but Indian food for lunch (the restaurant had salads, sandwiches, Thai, Vietnamese, Khremer ect for $5-9). In the end, we had to cut the tour short by 1.5 hour so that they could go back to town to eat Indian. It is amazing how patient San was in trying to accommodate everyone as though he was a multi-tasking private tour guide! Overall, San did a good job, took good care of everyone, and helped us take lot of pictures. AngkorWat is definitely a place to visit and the tour is recommended for those who wish to have a glimpse of the place.

I didn't expect anything and I quite like it.

I booked this tour for a morning trip. They picked me up at the hotel so it is very convenience. Our guide had given us brief introduction and some information of the country and the place we were going and it was really nice considering it takes some time to arrive at the boat and you won't be able to listen while the boat is traveling. Once you are on the boat, you are ridding through a fishing village. You get to see locals are living their lives and it is kind special to me. Then you will be on a lake which is gigantic that you cannot see the other ends. On the return trip they took us on foot back to the van though the village. This had been couple hours of new experiences to me. Thank you our guide, Voath, for making this comfortable for all of us. I suggest for a morning trip since there are not many tourists and the temperature should be better.

Tonle sap—good insight into living on the lake

Phearom was a very good guide. We enjoyed our tour and seeing how the people live and make a living from tonle sap. I think tour would be much better in high water season. Still happy we went. Nice change from the temples.

Worth taking tour

Our tour guide Phyrom was excellent. Very calm and composed and knew all the good spots to take photos. Explained things well. Definitely worth taking the tour rather than doing it solo as I got to meet some other great travellers. Only slight criticism - the last stop is basically 2 hours of waiting in a queue (optional) to see the sunset from the top of the last temple. Many of us chose not to wait and did our own thing (talking to others, exploring the market area nearby etc). Overall, I'm very satisfied with the tour guide and the tour.

Definitely met our expectations!

We did this tour with a small group of 10. The perfect size. Our guide, Seila, was very knowledgeable and passionate about this magnificent heritage site as well as his country. He was punctual for pick-up and very attentive to our needs. He answered all our questions well. We had a great day and it was fun meeting new people.

Half-Day Kompong Phluk, Tonle Sap Lake from Siem Reap

Vichet, Kampong Phluk and Tonle Sap Lake Tour was rather personally given us a in-depth observation of the lives of the community members. He was well knowledgeable about the community and their lifestyle. Additionally, he went out of his way to take several memorable photos of members within my tour party to commemorate their experience. Thanks for the experience.
