Day 1 - Phnom Penh
On your first day in Cambodia, according to your arrival time, we will be pleased to give you some suggestions on what to do with your first day or afternoon in Cambodia.
In the evening, you will have a first group meeting with your local tour leader before going to a local restaurant for a welcome dinner. Dinner at the restaurant Friends which is a non-profit restaurant run by street youth in training. All proceeds go to the organisation Mith Samlanh and the food is delicious.

Day 2 – Phnom Penh to Kep - Rabbit Island (D)
We will leave Phnom Penh after breakfast and drive to the south by public bus. This 5 hours trip will cross the Cambodian countryside, passing bucolic villages and scenic rice paddies. On the way, you will see people at work in the rice fields, driving oxcarts and other strange vehicles as well as peaceful water buffaloes lying on pond along the road. Our destination is the small city of Kep, famous for its seafood, especially fresh crab.
Upon arrival, a thirty minutes boat cruise will take us on Rabbit Island (Koh Tunsay), a lovely little island that sits offshore from Kep. You will be able to enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal sea before having a beach dinner of outsanding seafood : it doesn't get fresher than here! We will spend the night in wooden bungalows along the beach of this quiet place.
Overnight on Rabbit Island

Day 3 – Kep - Rabbit Island (Kep) (B / L / D)
We will spend a whole day on Rabbit island. You will be able to admire the sunrise on the sea or enjoy a long lie. This small island has two white sandy beaches with coconut trees and shallow waters. Enjoy a relaxing time on the beach, snorkel in clean waters around the rocks and admire a variety of beautiful fish. You can also walk along the beaches or inside the island through the beautiful forest hoping to see some giant bats, unless you are just dreaming of lying on a hammock with a good book and cocktail drink.
Overnight on Rabbit Island

Day 4 – Kep to Sihanoukville (B)
After breakfast we take the boat back to Kep and then resume our journey on the road which runs along the sea to Sihanoukville. Sihanoukville town, also called Kompong Som, sits in the center of a small peninsula that juts into the warm waters of the Gulf of Thailand. This is Cambodia’s leading beach resort. There are white-sand beaches around the headland, unspoilt islands off the coast and the popular Khal Chhay waterfall near town. You will have a free afternoon to enjoy the beaches or explore the city.
Overnight in Sihanouk Ville at Santepheap guesthouse or similar

Day 5 – Sihanoukville - Koh Russei (B / L / D)
Today, we will organise a boat trip on the Gulf of Thailand. There are several nearby islands with good snorkelling waters and white sand beaches – within a 40-minutes to 2-hours boat trip. The boat will stop close to islands with rocky reefs providing a rich marine life for snorkelling before to shore to Koh Russei island with uninhabited sandy beaches where you will relax while your guide will prepare lunch. We will spend the rest of the day in this chill out, no hassle atmosphere. The island provides two white-sand beaches. The ten-minute walk between beaches is pleasant one; they're connected by a path that traverses the island through a jungly forest filled with deafening cicadas.
We will dine of fresh seafood BB and spend the night in basic wooden bungalows along the beach.
Overnight in Koh Russei at Bamboo Island Resort or similar

Day 6 – Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh (B)
We will take our breakfast on the beach and enjoy some few hours on the island before taking the boat back to Sihanoukville. We will go for lunch at Starfish Bakery Café from the Starfish Project which assists disabled families and individuals to becoming independent through housing, community and water projects, and medical assistance. Starfish Project will also be able to provide for you a relaxing moment with their experienced blind masseurs, or give you the opportunity to keep in touch with your family and friends with their Internet Centre. Afterwards, we will take the public bus to Phnom Penh where we will arrive at the end of the afternoon. Tonight, we will dine in the garden of Le Rit’s restaurant (owned by the NGO Nyemo) which assists vulnerable women and helpless children in their reintegration into society and the workforce. Then we will enjoy a theatre performance at the Sovanna Phum Theatre.
Overnight in Phnom Penh at Bright Light guesthouse
Please note that the Sovanna Phum Theatre shows are usually on Friday and Saturday only. The itinerary is subject to change according to your starting day.

Day 7 – Phnom Penh
This morning, after breakfast, we will drive about 16 kilometers to the Choeng Ek killing fields and the Tuol Sleng genocide Museum - a mass gravesite and a former high school converted to a detention and torture centre by the Khmers Rouges when they came to power in 1975. Choeung Ek also serves as a memorial to those killed under the Khmers Rouges rule.
For our farewell lunch, we will go to the Veiyo Tonle restaurant. Veiyo Tonle works as an orphanage and day center for disadvantaged children. They support these children to go to school and train them to perform traditional Khmer dancing, at times the children perform a dances in the restaurant. Travel in Cambodia
