(Nov.22)- Waterfall & 1000 lingas tour

My trip was overall great. My guide was Mr. SIEKKONG & driver was Mr. Borey. For my experience, I’ll point out the cons and pros. Cons- When seeing the 1000 Lingas, it wasn’t as exciting to see because it could be difficult to see in the water and really could just take a picture. Pros- My guide and driver were both excellent on taking care of me and had time to explore on my own time. The Kulen Waterfall was by far the best place to go because there was different levels of waterfalls and the biggest one, you could swim around and enjoy the view. The reclining Buddha was nice to see up close in the mountains and enjoy the view as well. For the future, possibly change the 1000 Lingas to something else but as for the waterfall and reclining Buddha, definitely keep those in the tour.

Mangroves are a must see

Jose was a great guide. He took 11 of us to a local wet market where we sampled all kinds of freshly made local goodies. We also saw a village on stilts, but the highlight was the mangroves. Jose was kind and enthusiastic, had a lot of info and took great care of us. Go with him! Thanks!

Totally different way of life...

We stopped enroute at our guides home village which seemed more of a market with a few homes as the market was huge! A proper assault on the senses - sights, sounds & smells - stuffed frogs anyone?! What I liked was there was no pushing you to buy stuff, although having our tour guide being well known by almost everyone I think helped a lot! This is a tour definitely well worth doing - although not flooded due to it being dry season the walk through gave a completely different perspective to life in this village and I'm glad we did it in low season as it wasn't crowded and the villagers were just getting on with their daily lives. It was hot & dusty and I can understand why the houses are built on stilts to make the most of the breeze when there is no water. The villagers were very friendly & happy for photos to be taken (just ask first!) I do want to return to see it when it is flooded though...

Great experience thanks to a great team

A great experience thanks to an amazing team! Our hyperactive guide, Mr. Khen, is full of energy. If you're looking for enthusiasm and a lively atmosphere, don't hesitate! He took great care of us throughout the entire tour, with extensive knowledge and a passionate explanation of everything. He's also a talented photographer who knows the best photo spots and will capture the best moments with skill. All of this in a very pleasant, air-conditioned minivan, with small bottles of fresh water waiting for us at each stop, much to our delight. Our driver, humorously nicknamed "Mr. Cold" for the duration of the excursion, was incredibly kind. Unfortunately, we were unable to take the balloon ride due to unstable weather conditions for safety reasons. However, the team was very responsive and extremely understanding. We were compensated after choosing not to reschedule, as kindly suggested, because we had a tight program.???? In summary, it was a magical and timeless moment thanks to them. Thank you again.

Smooth tour

Good tour was fascinating too see all the houses and the line of we’re the water rises too in the wet season. Didn’t find it a little strange however that our guide stopped and took more photos in the village they we did.

A Good private tour to the four major sites in 7 hours

My wife and I enjoyed the hotel pickup and drop off with an 8 am start. Good tour guide with good English and knowledge of the sites visited and our driver with his Tuk Tuk provided cold water and towelettes to cool down at each pickup spot along the way. Glad we did Angkor Wat temple first in the morning with the extensive walking and climbing stairs to the third and highest level in the temple.
