The river trip showed just how these amazing people cope with the different seasons . Their houses stand high above the river in the dry season, when we saw them. One can only imagine the amount of rain it must take for them to need to be above the water in the wet time. Fishing for little fish and oyster with nets is there livelihood. Tough life.

An excellent tour. Our guide, Sorphea, was very knowledgable and explained the history of Angkor Wat and the other temples extremely well. It was good to be in a smaller group, so would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about these wonderful temples. He knows where all the good places are to get the best photo opportunities. Brilliant day! Thanks

The guided tour with Mr San was really interesting. His explanations were clear and full of details, not only related to the temples but also to Cambodian history in general. I recommend.

We booked on for this trip the day before going. It's a very early start - you get picked up from your hotel at 4.30ish - to make sure you have time to get tickets and a good spot to watch the sunrise. Our guide was Youhan (Han). He is very knowledgeable and approachable - he balanced the serious stuff with a good dose of comedy and was happy to talk about all things Cambodian, not just temples. A few people we spoke to about the sunrise trip were in 2 minds as to whether it was worth the effort. However, when you factor in the amazing views and the fact that you can get most of your exploring done before the day really starts to heat up, then it makes a lot more sense (and I'm definitely NOT a morning person!). If you get a chance, go for it and get a good guide (ie Han!).

If you are to visit Anchor Wat and the associated archeological ruins, it is good to do it with a tour guide. Our guide with this tour was Sorphea and he was wonderful. He did a great job of providing the history behind the temples and ruins. His English skills are very good, he projects his voice well and he is sensitive to make sure that all tour participants are present and able to hear his presentation. There are numerous carvings in the rock walls and he was spectacular at explaining the meanings behind the carvings. Also, Anchor Wat would not be what it is without the surrounding jungle and Sorphea was very knowledgeable about the trees and the plants. He does his best to keep the tour participants in the shade and he always makes sure that everyone has adequate water. Take this tour. It is very affordable and ask for Sorphea to be your guide.

The tour with San is so informative and interesting I get to learn a lot from Cambodian history and temples! He is so accommodating and took great pictures! I highly recommend San and will definitely do it again with him when I come back with my family/ friends!

Picked up directly from hostel and went straight to the ticket office. Adventure started in Angkor Wat and ended in Ta Prohm. Amazing temples but the information provided by our guide Sophrea made it more interesting because we understood the history behind the temples and the carvings. We get bottles of cold water after each visit which is appreciated since it was very hot walking around the massive temples. Perfect tour if you want to make the most of the temples in one day.
