Amazing Angkor Wat :)

We absolutely loved our trip. The place is beautiful and our guide, Choub, made it an unforgetable experience for us. Not only he was telling us many stories about the place but also turned out to be a very skilled photographer. Our bus driver, Channa, was an excellent driver. I would recommend it to everyone!

Fascinating 4D3N getaway trip

A relaxing and informative trip! Angkor has been in my travel bucket for so long and I am glad to have it done finally. Well organized trip by Green Era with professional, energetic and fun guide Mr. Han and caring, responsible driver Mr. Sokhen. We arrived in the afternoon and our first stop was visiting the great annual flood of Tonle Sap Lake. We took a boat ride to the village of Kampong Phhluk, seeing mangroves along the riverbank. Then finishing off our first day with Apsara Dance show dinner at Por Cuisine Restaurant. Our second day was temples visit. Woke up early for sunrise view at Angkor Wat, then to Angkor Thom, Bayon temple and Ta Phrom. We weren’t lucky enough capturing the best sunset view from Phnom Bakheng. If you will be staying in Angkor for 3 days or above, I highly recommend you to buy a 3 day pass instead of 1 day. Giving yourself a better chance of seeing the beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Our 3rd day beginning the tour to the Phnom Kulen (Lychee Mountain), a sandstone plateau considered sacred by the Khmers. Then visiting the reclining Buddha which carved out of a huge rock in 16th century and the waterfall. And finally having a relaxed 4th day experiencing a 3 hour quad bike ride and lastly shopping at old market and King’s Road Angkor at night. Will likely take my family to Angkor again for another reminiscent trip! Special thanks to Mr. Han for teaching us how to take tall images with our phone. ????

Magnificent experience seeing a different side to Cambodia

We really enjoyed seeing Kompong Phluk, the guide Jose was absolutely outstanding and he taught us loads about Cambodia and the Tonlé Sap lake. He took us to meet some local school children and explained the history of the village and prepared us for the canoe experience through the floating forest. Would recommend paying a couple dollars to the not so coy sellers anchored in the floating forest to buy some bananas and feed the monkeys on the way through. Thanks Jose! From Tom and James

Insight on local life.

Took a tour to the floating village of Kompong Phluk earlier today. Got picked up approximately at 7:30 and was met by our tour guide Jose. We then went on to pick up the rest of our group and then we were off. Our first stop was a local market, then the floating village, then took a boat ride through the forest. Five stars! The tour itself was excellent. During our visit to the market, We were able to sample various things. Be sure to check out the waffles, they are made with meal and coconut. Only regret was not buying more. My absolute favorite part was visiting the village. We were able to get insight on the daily life of the locals. We also got a chance to visit the charming school children at the English speaking school. Lastly, Jose was very kind and very knowledgeable. Not only about the village, but also the history of Cambodia. I would highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Jose! Definitely the tour to check out if you're looking for something outside of temples!

Half Day Kompong Phluk

We booked this excursion last minute and it was well worth it. We were picked up by minibus, our tour guide Jose and driver Channa took great care of us. Jose was very knowledgeable, during the trip we stopped at one of the local villages and met some young children learning English. It was great to be able to talk with them and engage, their English was excellent. At the end of the tour Jose took us to a local restaurant called The Hut, the food was amazing. This tour is a must, excellent service and very friendly.
