According to my tour guide, the water in the lake subside in the dry season from Nov till Mar and rise to at least 3-5 metres during wet seaon from Apr till Oct. Hence, we got to view many interesting villages' activities on ground when my family travelled in Jan. It was an eye opening to be able to see on board a private boat on some of the interesting daily routines unique to Kompong Pluk and the beautiful villages. Be sure to catch the boat ride out to see the floating crocodile farm too and get some refeshment on the floating restaurant. It was definitely a 'must see' in my view.

I had a wonderful tour with our guide Kah. His tour was very interesting with a wide knowledge of the country's history and culture. In addition he was very aware of our needs and comforts. I enjoyed the day very much and feel I got the maximum from it.

Angkor Wat is totally amazing. My guide Vichet is professional and fun. He knows a lot about Angkor Wat and other temples. Before we visit a temple, he would give us detailed information of the place and stories of the carvings. I have sprained my ankle before the trip and had to use a walking stick. Vichet was very attentive and gave me a helping hand along the way. It is a tour that you don't want to miss.

We did a 4 day tour with Green Era throughout Kampot, Kep and Sihanoukville, including a trip across to Rabbit Island. It was excellent from start to finish. Our guide was Chhum, he was very experienced and knowledgeable and took us to many great and interesting places throughout this quiet area of Cambodia. The Bokor Hill station abandoned buildings, the crab market, the pepper farm and Rabbit Island were big highlights. Chhum was a great guide and knew a lot about the local history and culture. Our driver was Udom, he was excellent at negotiating some of the rough roads and ensured our belongings were watched whilst we explored the many areas we visited. I can not recommend this company highly enough, extremely professional and we had a great time. The tour company is locally owned so your money is going back into the local community which is what I recommend all travellers to Cambodia do.

Es war eine exzellent organisierte Reise von Siem Reap über Battambang nach Phnom Penh mit dem Reiseleiter Vanlohn von Green Era Travel. Er ist auf viele individuelle Wünsche eingegenagen und so konnten wir Kambodscha abseitz der ausgetretenen Tourismus-Pfade intensiv kennenlern. We visited Siem Reap for 3 days and it would not be the same without Bunchhoub. He provided us with history and all the information. His smile is also just iconic! He made us laugh so much and created a comfortable and happy atmosphere for us to explore the amazing temples. He even showed us other places that weren’t included in the itinerary. We will miss Mr Bun!
