I decided well before I arrived in Siem Reap, to do this private tour, with a personal guide and a driver. They picked me up at my place as planned, which was nice. My guide welcomed me in the Lobby and off we went. The guide got my entrance ticket to the park, so I didn't have to wait in line and it was even $5 cheaper. The 1,5hour car ride was very nice, as I got to see the local countryside and its people. My guide told me a bit about the people and the history of the Siem Reap region, which I thought was very interesting. Once at the park he showed me the reclining Buddha on top of the rock and also taught me some of the local Buddhist customs at the shrine on site, which I thought was really nice. He also showed me various shrines in the forrest surrounding the Buddha. I suspected that the normal tourist would not be brought here. Since I like adventure, it was just perfect. On we went to the real price...the Lingas carved into the rocky river bed. It was just amazing. My guide told me how they came about und how old they were, which was very interesting. We then went to a beautiful waterfall nearby, where I got some time at my own leisure. All in all I was more than satisfied with my guide and the tour.

My friend and I did a one day tour of Angkor Wat temples and Hok San was our guide. He was incredibly nice and knew so much about the country’s history and the temples. He was always able to answer our questions and took tons of great pictures for us at all the ‘money shot’ locations! Chana was also a great driver! They had multiple bottles of cold water for us which were very much appreciated. I would recommend any of my friends take this tour and insist they ask for Hok San as their guide!

First, I’ll say if you are going to book a tour, please book Hak San. He absolutely made our day even more enjoyable with his kindness, humor, detailed information on the sites and his personal stories/experiences in Cambodia. He treated us like family, and he’s a great photographer! As for Angkor Wat, it’s a long day but the tour is just long enough. Nice air conditioned transportation and cold water bottles provided throughout the day. The 3 big main sites are enough for day 1, if interested can go back to any of them on a 2nd day on our own or to the other smaller sites. Consider bringing an umbrella to protect from the sun or at the very least a hat. Remember to wearing a T-shirt that covers your shoulders not a tank top because they’re much more strict about it now and also long pants or skirt. The rules about shoulders and knees applies to both men and women. Thank you Hak San for a great day!!!

Would recommend this travel company when in siem reap. My travel guide Hok San was very knowledgeable on where and when to go in the city and surrounds. Also had very good driver in Mr Mel. Thank you both for making my stay a wonderful experience.

Had a great day here with Mr Van Lonh from green era travel. He worked so hard, took us to all the best spots at the right time of day and had some excellent photo skills too. He was very knowledgeable about the temples history and had great English skills. Would definitely reccomend! Thank you!

Mr Lonh was an amazing guid always smiling and his English and knowledge is impeccable. One thing I would suggest is ask him for photos, he knows all the very good places for brilliant photos. Definitely recommend 10000% AMAZING!! Fantastic!!

My husband and I enjoyed a day on a small group tour with Phaerom. He was a very fun and knowledgeable guide who shared a lot of great history about the 3 temples we visited. I would recommend the day tour if you only have one day or have a few days but want to get introduced to the area and history.
