Great way to explore Angkor Wat

After reading great reviews we booked this trip to explore Angkor Wat. We were a small group of only 6 members which was perfect size to explore this rather large area and get to know each other too. Our guide Noy was brilliant! We were second to be picked up, but we dint have to wait too long. He spoke good English and provided a length of information. He gave us a quick briefing on the history of angkor while we were driving to the ticket office. At first it was too many names but when he explained in detail at the sites we were able to understand and relate to it better. He threw in a fair bit of humor as well, kept ahead of crowds and guided us well to where we could find him incase we got caught up in the crowds or took too long taking photographs along the way. (which was great because it was the Chinese new year and it was way too crowded). He was open to questions and provided answers to any of the questions we had. As a bonus he also stopped in the less busy spots for rest and pictures. The air condition rides between temples was heaven after being hot in sun. The restaurant we stopped at was pricy but it was the only one in the area and the food was good. We did a quick pit stop at the end of the trip at the local gems museum for 10mins, we were not forced to buy or anything and was nice to get some air con n listen to the locals. Highly recommended!

Angkor Wat

There were 6 of us on the tour and the guides name was Noy who explained the history as we went around, it made for a very interesting day, He readily answered any questions we asked. The driver of the very comfortable, air cooled bus was always waiting with cold water after each temple. A lot of walking and steep stairs are involved but boy is it worth it. The different temples take your breath away. Noy certainly looked after us and i would recommend Viator and Noy to all who are interested in visiting the wonders of Angkor Wat.

Fabulous Angkor Wat sunrise tour

Phearom was a fabulous tour guide, his thorough knowledge of the history of the area made the sightseeing much more fulfilling. Really great selection of sites, a very efficient use of time to see the highlights of the vast Angkor Wat area.

Can't miss this tour

Thanks to Boren today for a great tour! He and put driver picked up my friend and I as well as a couple to be part of this trip. What a great experience, Boren talked to us about Cambodian culture on our drive to the boat. The tour he gave an explanation about the community, culture, industry, and wildlife was excellent. It was a great way to see a completely different side of Cambodia. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone.

These were the most exciting and thorough tours I've been given on this vacation. Mr. Chet was outstanding. He was patient, knowledgeable about Cambodian history and well spoken. His English was clear and easily understood. I am 76 years, traveling solo with some limitations. My Chet was most supportive and ensured I could rest and remain hydrated. Mr. Chet was a perfect and generous professional. Thank you.

Amazing tour with knowledgeable guide

Angkor Wat is an amazing place brought to life by our tour guide, Mr Phearom. He had a deep knowledge of Cambodian history, all explained in perfect English. He conducted us to the best locations and we took many photos. As well as Angkor Wat , we visited other fascinating sites including Angkor Thom, with its wonderful causeway and South Gate, Bayon Temple, with its many images of heads facing in all directions, and Ta Prohm, with its ruins taken over by massive tree roots. We were conducted to a local restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent lunch. All in all, wonderful tour - Thank you!

Extremely knowledgeable

This is my third tour of Angkor Wat, but it was by far the best due to the commentary of our extremely knowledgeable guide, Mr. Srun Sarat. He not only explained in detail the sites we were witnessing, but he provided a wealth of historical and cultural background. I would highly recommend you seek out Mr. Srun as your guide to any Siem Reap site.

Amazing trip with excellent tour guide

The trip was amazing and excellent conduct by Mr Phearom, he is the best tour guide with excellent english, knowledgeable about history of Combodia and share the stories every each of the temple's. Angkor Wat and Ta Promh is one of my bucket list and its more memorable with the history and stories told by Mr Phearom make my trip unforgettable because i love art history culture and he fullfill my need with his tour. And help me to take photos with very nice spot and know exactly how to take picture. He basicly love his country so much that shown in his attitude behavior the he speak. He told me not to give tips to the childs because wanted them to go to school because money will encourage the kids not to go to school. The trips is amazing..i strongly suggested this tour especially with Mr Phearom. Thanks for making my trips memorable.

It was a great trip!

Our guide Vanlonh was really nice, not only dis he give us information on the sites and some history, he is also good at craking jokes and taking cool pictures for everyone. We visited in a very crowd day, and so he decided to take us to a quiet temple where there was no one, that was very nice after fighting the crowds in Ta Prom...I definitely recommend this trip.
