The Angkor Wat complex is huge. I would not attempt to do it on your on, unless you have unlimited time and your own car. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. He knew how to dodge some of the crowds as well as good spots for photos. It was a day well spent.

Although the weather was cloudy, the tour was very good. The guide Vanlonh was essential for the tour, explaining the historical aspects and taking very good shots of the temples. I highly recommend the tour and Vanlonh!!!!

I went on an Angkor Wat tour yesterday with Mr Sarat and I can say he is one of the best tour-guides I have ever seen ! His English is very good, he did not give us an automatic read of the wonderful temples we were seeing, despite the heat and humidity he stayed very patient and always smiling and answering our question ! He was really passionate which is not very common anymore, and that was great!! We have seen not only Angkor but been able to see other wonderful temples closeby I give a 5 star review because it's fully deserved Sarat and I hope to see you again next time I come to Cambodia ;.)) Angkor Wat was an amazing place and our tour guide had lots of knowledge about Cambodian history. He showed us the best locations and offered to take pictures of us individually. All in all, the tour was very well organized and I really recommend Green Era Travel! Thanks to Phearom for an amazing tour!

I did the Angkor Wat day tour with Green Era Travels and had a fantastic time! Specifically, the guide Sarat made the tour all that much better. He knew all about the history of the Angkor Wat. We are not usually travelers who engage a tour guide, preferring to read up on local history and points of interest ourselves. But with limited time in Siem Reap, we decided that we'd be best served by asking a local company to help us prioritize our time. We could not be happier with Green Era Travel, our tour guide Mr. Phearom Phal, or the content of the tour. Our guide was quite knowledgeable about a range of subjects - from Cambodia's distant past and the various forces shaping the creation and use of the historic sites we visited, to recent history and particularly local knowledge built up from years of helping foreigners navigate Siem Reap. He was a patient, professional and engaging companion on our journeys, ensuring that everything went smoothly and that we were able to have ample time to tour the temples, hospitals, and other buildings that make up the historic site. His willingness to delve deeply into the history of the sites and even try to teach us a bit of Khmer made our experience of the temple sites and Tonle Sap so much richer and more memorable than we could have ever gotten on our own. Our booking with Green Era Travel was also smooth, and everything was arranged exactly as described.

There were 6 of us on the tour and the guides name was Noy who explained the history as we went around, it made for a very interesting day, He readily answered any questions we asked. The driver of the very comfortable, air cooled bus was always waiting with cold water after each temple. A lot of walking and steep stairs are involved but boy is it worth it. The different temples take your breath away. Noy certainly looked after us and i would recommend Viator and Noy to all who are interested in visiting the wonders of Angkor Wat.
