Small-Group Explore Angkor Wat Tour with Guide from Siem Reap (6-7h)

Our tour guide Phyrom was excellent. Very calm and composed and knew all the good spots to take photos. Explained things well. Definitely worth taking the tour rather than doing it solo as I got to meet some other great travellers. Only slight criticism - the last stop is basically 2 hours of waiting in a queue (optional) to see the sunset from the top of the last temple. Many of us chose not to wait and did our own thing (talking to others, exploring the market area nearby etc). Overall, I'm very satisfied with the tour guide and the tour.

San, our Tour Guide was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Cambodia and the Angkorwat Temples, he is a great photographer and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable and having a great time. He called the driver 15 minutes before getting back on the bus between temple visits to ensure the van was air conditioned and cool before we we were back on the van. I highly recommend San as a Tour Guide.

We did this tour with a small group of 10. The perfect size. Our guide, Seila, was very knowledgeable and passionate about this magnificent heritage site as well as his country. He was punctual for pick-up and very attentive to our needs. He answered all our questions well. We had a great day and it was fun meeting new people.

We had already been to the outling temples the day before, by Tuktuk. But with the cool aircon minibus and expert guidance by San today, the temples came to life with a smile..???? He answered lots of questions (mostly from me, to my wifes annoyance!!????) and took lots of photos in all the right places and then sent them to us very promptly. Thanks again San, here's some photos of you..Highly recommended..

結論から言うと、sanのガイドは最高でした。アンコールワットの敷地面積が広いことは無知ながら事前に知っており、1日でどれくらい観光できるか多少不安でした。しかし、sanの詳細な説明、また、マニアックな写真スポットを教示してくれる等のアテンドのおかげで、非常に満足感を得ることができました。とても楽しかったです。

朝ホテルまで迎えに来てくれて、物腰もすごく柔らかいです。また観光地の説明も丁寧でどんな質問にも答えて頂ける。ただ英語での説明になるので理解が大変かもしれませんが、ボディランゲージも交えて説明するためおおよその話は理解できます。また、ガイドさんがスマホで撮影してくれて、後にメールアドレスに写真を送ってくれます。ツアー自体も他の外国人さんもいますし、皆さんフレンドリーなため特に緊張などせず楽しいツアーでした。

Fantastic Day at the Ankor Wat site. Terrific guide, by the name of San, who explained everything with geest knowledge, dating, a real professional with a werving attitude

Not really knowing what to expect we were picked up at our hotel by our tour guide, Seila. We were a small group of 10, 2 Canadians, 4 Americans, 2 Italians and us 2 Brits. The guide was full of local knowledge and his English was excellent. He told us that we would go to Angkor Wat in the afternoon when it was less busy so our first stop was Angkor Thom. This was a great experience. Seila explained the significance of all the carvings and despite there being a lot of people we were his priority and he guided us well. After a stop for lunch we then headed for our next temple - Ta Prohm, otherwise known as ‘The Tomb Raider Temple’ as that was where it was filmed. A spectacular place as the pictures show. Our final stop was Angkor Wat itself. This was well preserved as the monks had looked after it through the centuries. Seila gave us a great insight into the history and culture of Cambodia. He was full of knowledge which was often delivered with a great sense of humour. All in all a great trip. However, if you haven’t got stamina and of limited mobility this isn’t the trip for you, if you do book the trip try and get Sela as your guide,
