Itinerary

After pickup from your Siem Reap hotel, travel to the Angkor Archaeological Park in the comfort of an air-conditioned minivan. Once you’ve purchased your entrance tickets (not included), set out on a guided tour of the ancient temples.

Start by marveling at the much-photographed temple of Angkor Wat and hear the fascinating history of the Khmer Empire as you follow your guide around the impressively preserved ruins. Continue to the walled temple complex of Angkor Thom, pass through the grand South Gate, and visit architectural highlights including Bayon Temple, the Elephant Terrace, and the Terrace of Leper King. After breaking for lunch (own expense), admire the overgrown ruins of Ta Phrom and discover why it’s nicknamed the “Jungle Temple.”

Highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend! Our guide San was very knowledgeable, set a comfortable pace to accommodate all within the group and was very detail oriented when explaining notable things at each site. The tour itinerary was well planned with a comfortable lunch break in the middle -- the restaurant was quite tourist oriented but I'm not sure there are many options within the temple complex. One minor point of feedback for the tour company: it would be great if they could proactively confirm pickup times the day before via email; we had to call the company and confirm ourselves.

Excellent tour with NAK!!!

This is a must-do tour with the essential of Angkor Archeological City... and the tour is really well organized. I was picked up at 4:30am, and with only a couple of tourists we went to get the tickets for Angkor Wat. Nak took care of us all the time, shared every historical detail about the temples, and helped me take the best pictures, since he knows a lot of tricks with the iphone and cameras to get really cool effects in the best sites of the temples. I totally recommend Nak's services as a tour guide! It was a fun experience, not only we learnt a lot from him, but had a great time as well!

Amazing experience!

Great group to do for a full day tour of the main attractions of Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. Hit Angkor Wat, smiling buddha, Tomb Raider and the serpent. Our tour guide, Choub, was amazing. Spoke fluent english and was super fun and succinct when explaining the places. Great driver, Vong, as well. Was always on time and offered us water at every stop. Drove safely.

Great tour of Angkor !

Our guide, Choub, was very knowledgable, thorough and thoughtful with each member of our small group and our driver, Vong, was excellent and always there to pick us up with a cold van and cold water drinks. I would highly recommend this day tour. Plenty of time to see the sights but with the comfort of a good guide and excellent service.

Sunrise Anchor Wat Tour

Brilliant experience with Nak as our guide @ the Anchor Wat Temples. Nak's knowledge of Cambodian history & thorough knowledge of the Temples was excellent & lightened the history with his fantastic personality. We were fortunate to only be 3 on our tour so were really spoilt having a personalized tour with Nak. He captured a lot of our beautiful memories, so thank you for a wonderful day & the spiritual journey in the Temple world!

Discover Angkor Wat and other temples with Nak, an amazing guide

The tour: Pro - pick up and drop off at your hotel - Car with AC and fresh water (this gets pretty useful along the day) - 8 people per tour is a reasonable number to maintain cohesion in the group - 3 temples of different types located all in the same area Cons - this might be tough to organize but try to get the Angkor Wat start by 9am so that it ends by 10.30 am to avoid the maximum heat The guide: Pro: - extremely professional and knows his stuff - great personality, passionate and interesting story (former boudhist monk) - optimized the Angkor Wat (we visited starting to the East Wing whereas most people started from the West => we weren't walking behind dozens of people) Cons - keep up the good work Nak
