If you are considering going on a tour with Sath, absolutely do it. Not only was Sath flexible in changing the itinerary to match our preferences, but he also told us much about Cambodian history and culture. He was warm and friendly and fun: making this one of the most real, down-to-earth and non-touristy food tours I’ve ever been on.

Siphat was our wonderful guide especially for the Killing Fields and Prison part of the tour.He shared his experiences with us as a child leaving the city at 12 years old and then trying to survive the brutal regime of the Khmer Rouge. Many of his family didn’t survive.It is an emotionally exhausting day.A living history lesson.

I did this food tour my first evening in Siem Reap as an introduction to the city and to Cambodia. It’s always true when visiting other food cultures (especially if you don’t speak the language) that it’s scary to explore local street food on your own—you don’t know what things are or how you’re supposed to eat them. Going with a local guide solves that problem so you can be immersed in the authentic way of eating. Green Era and my guide Sath were great. I can’t tell you how full I am????, and I’ve got little bags of lots of things to take back to my hotel! Also, I like that this tour starts at 6:00 (some others start at 4:30), so I could do it after my flight arrived. And it was fun to be driven in a tuk-tuk!

Pros -Tickets delivered to hotel before our arrival in Siem Reap. -Prompt an early pick-up @ 5am for the Angkor Wat Temple sunrise! -Our driver Sokkhen Tith was polite and attentive throughout the tour. -Tuk-Tuk transport to multiple Angkor Wat temples included in trip price. -Sokkhen gave us some history between temple stops as he used to live right next to Angkor Wat as a child. -Tour does not include guide around the temples, however we actually prefer this as we can travel and take photos at our own pace and google any questions. However, If you want you can op’t for a tour guide around the temples on arrival. -Water was supplied during the trip. -Sokkhen has reasonable english and gave clear instructions throughout the day. Cons - None Tourist tip - Wear a jacket for the early morning TukTuk pick-up

Our tour yesterday to Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Angkor Thom was great. Our tour guide, Nak, was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Cambodia and these sights, and ensured everyone understood the different stories he was telling. Our driver, Vong, was also great. The small group size (only 5 people including my partner and I) really made a difference in making it a great experience! Would highly recommend this tour and Nak in particular to anyone wanting to enjoy a great tour.

Very knowledgeable and personable guide. Wat was as pleasant as could be and made the tour special. The size of the temple complex is astounding.

My guide, Wat, picked me up via tuktuk at 7:30. The tuktuk and driver were included in the cost. By not going for the sunrise tour, Wat explained I missed the big crowds and lines. I needed the extra sleep anyway. After stopping at the official ticket center and buying my temple entry ticket, we proceeded via tuktuk to Angkor Wat. Wat gave me a history at each location and offered to take my picture at each stop and interesting view, of which there were many. The views were spectacular, and the incredible detail of the carvings was amazing. We stopped for lunch at a restaurant near one of the temples. The food was good and Wat helped explain to the server that I wanted a completely vegetarian meal. At times during the tour we saw monkeys just a meter or two away, and watching them interact like little humans was fascinating. The tuktuk driver gave me bottles of cold water when I needed it, and since it was hot I really needed it! I gave both my guide and the tuktuk driver a tip at the end. As a solo traveler, I was really glad I booked this tour. I got a lot more out of my day than if I had done it myself. I would definitely recommend the tour. Ask for Wat to be your guide!
