We visited Kmpong Phluk in the dry season so our tour was on foot. Very interesting to see how all the homes were built on stilts. We did have a boat tour out to see Tonle sap Lake and a short canoe ride with a local. It would be worth coming back to see the village during the wet season; it would be completely different. Be sure to take a car or mini van tour, not a tuk tuk. The ride by van was 35 minutes and at some points we saw people having to get out of their tuk tuk and walk up small hill's bcz the tuk tuk couldn't handle the extra weight. Our tour guide Chausan was excellent- try to request him. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed our tour.

Great tour. I lost my ticket after the first temple and my tour guide Nak went above and beyond to look for the lost ticket and drove me back to purchase another. He gave a great informational tour of all the temple and was very nice throughout the day.

LA verdad es que al inicio de la excursión parece raro y no sabes lo que te vas a encontrar, pero la verdad es que vale la pena el comprobar como es la relación entre los habitantes de esta zona y la naturaleza, sus fiestas, el juego de tirarse bolas de agua, ...

Uns hat die heutige Tour mit Nr Nak sehr gut gefallen. Abholung am Hotel hat gut geklappt. Die Floating villages sind sehr beeindruckend! Die kleine Bootstour im Kayak durch den Magnolienwald (5$ pro Person) fanden wir auch super schön. Man macht außerdem eine schöne Besichtigung der lokalen Märkte (hier gibt es wirklich keine Touristen :-D). Mr Nak erzählt viel über seine Heimat, die Floating village und seine Familie. Außerdem hat er eine Zeit lang als Mönch gelebt und kann auch aus dieser Zeit interessant Insiderfakten erzählen. Er ist sehr bemüht, dass es allen gefällt und sehr höflich und zuvorkommend.

The guide is great , friendly , shared us with good local knowledge. He is very professional in his work. The place is really awesome . Deeply recommend this tour.

Had a fantastic day with Phreaom, excellent pace and flexibility. Very good lunch stop. Banteay Srei is very beautiful, but all the temples are interesting. Fully recommend.

Angkor Wat is absolutely beautiful and San is great at helping find places for amazing photos. He has a lot of knowledge and provides the full experience. I’m definitely glad I booked the tour !

We booked a private tour for a too-short weekend visit to see the temples of Siem Reap. Our guide's name was Mr. Voath Vinh and our driver was Mr. "James Bond". Both men were always timely when they picked us up from the airport and our hotel on each subsequent day. Mr. "Bond" was an excellent driver, and he made us feel safe and comfortable despite being surrounded by reckless drivers. I highly recommend hiring a local driver rather than trying to drive yourself in this area. In addition to driving on narrow roads in a swarm of tuk-tuk drivers who seem to have no regard for anyone's safety, the roads are NOT distinctly marked, and it seems like one must already be familiar with the area in order to easily find their destination. Mr. Voath was such an outstanding guide. His proficient command of the English language is very impressive, and his knowledge of the ancient history of the temples as well as the modern history of Cambodia enriched our visit beyond description. Mr. Voath regularly tended to our comfort-level and interests. There was plenty of water made available to us throughout the weekend, and we were always very comfortable. Mr. Voath not only fulfilled all the requests we made in advance regarding places to see, but he also showed us places that he accurately thought we would find interesting about which we did not previously know. Mr. Voath perfectly met, and even exceeded, our family's expectations for this weekend tour. I highly recommend Mr. Voath to anyone looking for a tour guide in the Siem Reap area.
