My partner and I went on a trip to Angkor Wat with San this week. We can both safely say he had the day so enjoyable and we had the loveliest time from start to finish! We both felt very comfortable the whole day, and he completely went the extra mile, giving us so much cold water and even bring umbrellas in case it rained! He was really informative and funny the whole day and both my parter and I agree he is the best tour guide we’ve had on any trips we’ve done over our travels! Thank you San! :)

A great half day trip. Very interesting to see such a unique and different way of life! Definitely recommend this adventure.

excursion tres interessante avec un guide exceptionnel et adorable (nak chum) il était tellement fier de sa region qu'il s'est arreté sur un marché d'une petite bourgade pour nous faire découvrir l'alimentation locale. pas un seul touriste et une plongée dans le Cambodge profond. inoubliable. C'est vrai que c'était la basse saison donc nous n'étions que 3 avec lui ce qui favorise le coté intime et sa grande disponibilité. promenade en bateau dan le village sur pilotis tres impressionnant et navigation sur le lac tonle sap. Un vrai bon moment que je conseille. la balade en pirogue (facultative) est reposante on pourrais éviter l'arret sur une barge flottante avec ses pauvres crocodiles entassés dans une cage mais bon............... en tout cas de la manière dont je l'ai vécu ce ne sont que d'excellents souvenirs mais j'ose a peine imaginer ce que ça doit etre en haute saison...

I booked the tour to Kompong Phluk visiting floating village on 3rd Oct. I have to say that the tour is well-organized and our charming guide, Nak, is an outgoing and enthusiastic person who is fully equipped with history knowledge. Well, let's start from the very beginning:) We booked the tour in the morning, supposing to be started at 8.30 a.m. Nak and our brilliant driver, Channa, are very punctual waiting for me and my girlfriend outside the hostel. Then, an icy water is given to each of us. We are the only two people in the morning group, so you see, it is just like a private tour! Nak told us a brief history of Cambodia, and he could even figure out the history between Cambodia and China! That's perfect. Our first destination is a local market called Ro Lus Market, Nak knew some of the retailers and one of them was his uncle! We finished breakfast here and discovered local ingredients and spices for cooking. The we crossed the ticket control, transferring to a motor boat. A big boat with only four people, it is really common to see in the morning group:) We slowly approached the centre of floating village and had a close sight with children living in the village. They are quite innocent and pure. Then we stopped at a floating stand which is for the canoeing of mangroove. Extra 10 Dollars each, I think you should experience it because the marvelous view could not be seen in dry season. After around 35 minutes tour, we jumped on the motor boat again and drove directly to the centre of Tonle Sap Lake. Nak patiently explained the level change of the water in Tonle Sap and we photoed freely with the yellow, boundless lake. On the way back we visited the crocodile farm and saw how a crocodile eat half a chicken. Yes, it is a little bit cruel. Then we visited the pagoda in the village seeing monks are eating lunch together pleasantly. If you have more time, you could walk into the village and get closer touch to their lives. I have to show great gratitudes to my guide Nak and driver Channa, the both led me to unpveil a mysterious group of people lives and I felt pretty peaceful in heart during the tour, which is hardly to feel in Beijing, the capital in China.

My friend and I took the am tour. The bus driver showed up to the hotel on time and took us out to the newer spacious air conditioned comfortable van. The tour guide Phearom spoke English, clearly and easy to understand. Phearom was engaging with a good natured sense of humor. He was well informed about the tour destination as well as Cambodian history. Some tour guides talk at you, but Phearom always had something interesting to say. My travel companion agreed with my opinion of the tour guide. We both agreed that a high point of the tour, was the optional canoe ride. It was a quiet intimate way to enjoy the beauty of the mangrove area. The canoe was paddled by what appeared to be a mother daughter team which was very cute. I found the ride so relaxing that I fell asleep.

The best tour of Angaor Wat. Our tour guide San went over and above to ensure that we were comfortable and saw everything within the temples. We learned a lot from our gracious teacher San! Thank you San !!!

Toller Guide mit viel Hintergrundwissen und gutem Humor! Er hat unseren Angkor Besuch zu einem perfekten Erlebnis gemacht. Die Tour ist auf Englisch, da San aber auch schon in Deutschland war, erzählt er darüber einige Anekdoten. Und das Beste: er zeigt einem wirklich gute Spots um das Erlebte fotografisch festzuhalten. Mit ihm hat man nicht nur einen Guide, sondern auch einen (professionellen) Fotografen an der Seite! Danke San für die tolle Tour!

Great day with San at the Angkor complex. 7people group was perfect to listen to the detailed explanation of the main temples visited during the day. It’s a great way to know the history behind Angkor and lots of interesting information about Cambodia. I strongly recommend San, for his positive and cheerful character and knowledge about this amazing part of Cambodia. Thanks San for an amazing day!!

5 stars tour and we got really nice pictures done by the guide San!!!!! Highly recommend tour guide San!
