In July 2019, I took the 3-Day Majestic Angkor Wat, Siem Reap and Tonle Sap Lake Tour through Green Era Travel that I found on Viator Tours. It was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Angkor Wat and the surrounding area. My guide was Mr. Van Lonh and my driver was Mr. Sim So Phep. You can't find a better guide and driver. Lohn was one of the best guides I've had in my many travel adventures. His English is excellent, he knows the history of Cambodia extremely well, and he made the tour super interesting and fun. He was very accommodating and flexible throughout the tour. We visited many more temples, sites, museums, etc. than in the actual itinerary just because I was interested in them. He also took me to the Land Mine Museum outside of Siem Reap which was an education in itself. In addition to being very pleasant, Lonh was super well informed about Cambodia - present as well as past which made our lunches together stimulating (not to mentioned the great food - try the Fish Amok!!!) I also mentioned to him that I had an interest in learning about rice production. He brought me to a rice field where a family was planting the second round of rice (the first is from the seed). He explained to me the entire process (Lonh was a farmer himself and grew rice when he was younger), and showed me how it was done. I simply can't say enough about Lonh - he is fantastic. Our driver, Mr. Sim So Phep, was kind and so attentive. I just loved this tour even more than I anticipated - all because of Lonh and Mr. Peap. Thank you Green Era Travel for everything. I will highly recommend you to all my friends!!! And I want to return next year with my husband!!!

At first I was a bit worried about the tour as we are in Cambodia in their dry season. I read many of the reviews which helped settle the worry of the tour. Today we went and started off with our great tour guide Nak and the driver in a very nice clean and cool pick up at 7:45am from our hotel this morning. Picking up another two passengers went pressed on to start out tour with Nak and his amazing knowledge of the history and culture. Making this more of a great tour for the tourists and Nak as a guide for his hometown we were shown the life of a Cambodian in the traditional way. He is an excellent guide and information resource and his past life as a Monk was really interesting to chat to him about. His empathy, beliefs and culture shine through in his teachings and tour. Would highly recommend Nak as your tour guide on your next trip or tour in Cambodia.

Cost of tickets USD37. The queue was small so we hardly had to wait more than a few minutes. we had to have our tickets with us at all times. Saw some tourists having tickets in special mane card like holders around their necks. Totally unnecessary. Just keep the little ticket in your wallet.

He is an extraordinary guide who knew the place in and out but had all the best photo tricks that would get us the best photos. Attached some of his trick photos.

My wife and I went on this tour yesterday with Nak as our guide. Nak was full of useful information, and gave us great insight into daily life for real people in Siem Reap province. We went during rainy season, which is a very different experience than going in wet season. In rainy season, the entire structure of the village is visible, so life happens far above the street level, atop wooden stilts. I would definitely be interested in coming back during wet season for a very different experience.

It was a very interesting experience for me. If you can see and enjoy the real life of Cambodian, you should join this tour. My guide man was so SWEET and very gentleman. He gave me some Cambodian food haha. He speaks English well so I can easily understand what he said. Please enjoy your tour!!! ????????????????????

San, our tour guide, gave us excellent background information to the full day Angkor tour. He loves his country and it shows. Also thanks to Sokhen, our pick up and drop off airport driver, for showing us around town after the tour. We did have a wonderful day. Thank you very much San and Sokhen!

This tour was extremely interesting and valuable. For a price that is slightly higher than just having a tuk tuk take you around the park for the day, San was a wealth of knowledge and his story was just as interesting as the ancient structures we were visiting.
