Excellent tour - 5 stars

This tour deserves its 5 star rating. There are many tours advertised for Tonle Sap but none beats this price, and it really contains all you need for a half day visit, including the visit of a local colorful market where they sell vegetables, meat, fish... and you get a big smile from the locals when you ask them for a picture. The guide was motivated, interesting and spoke good English. The tour by canoe for $5 is worth the money and you help the locals. This tourist not a tourist trap!

Amazing Small Tour Group

It has been my dream to visit Angkor Wat since I was little. Thanks to Mr Chin or Vichet for make this trip one of the best experiences! I learned a lot about the history of Cambodia and the Khemer Empire. Mr Vjin was incredible, very knowledgeable and also very practical. If you want a great shot, he knows where to take them. His skills with cameras is just a plus. Fully recommend this tour.

Awesome guide!

Chet was really helpful, taking us through places where there was not so much people. And the best: he takes the most amazing pictures! Panoramas! And he knows the best spots! Best guide ever!

Excellent tour

Tour was excellent. Seila proved a very knowledgeable and interesting guide who spoke perfect English. We were given just the right amount of information and time in each of the three temples we visited. I would highly recommend both the tour and our guide.

Floating Village Tour with SAN

My friend and I had a great time on our tour of Kompong Phluk and Tonle Sap Lake thanks to our tour guide, SAN. He had an extensive knowledge of the history of Cambodia and he always made sure we understood everything before moving on to another topic of discussion. After picking us up from our hotel, we headed towards the boat station which took about 45 minutes by car. On our boat ride through the floating village, you could see many unique housing structures that were built to accommodate the water levels during both the dry and wet seasons in Cambodia. Our trip took place during the dry season so a lot of the houses seemed higher above ground than usual. We visited a temple and also caught a glimpse of the schooling system in the village. Some students had the opportunity to attend English classes and we even had the time to have some quick conversations with a few of the students! Moving on, we visited the floating forest and keep in mind that the canoe ride through the mangroves is not included on the price of this tour (they do mention this in their trip overview). The cost of the canoe ride is $5USD per person and overall, it was a very enjoyable ride. We finished off our tour by taking a look at a crocodile farm, which was another unique experience. All in all, my friend and I throughly enjoyed our time on this tour and it would not have been possible without San and his accompanying driver. San’s passion and knowledge of Cambodian history is evident and we had a great time thanks to him!

Guided Tour of Temples and Angkor Wat, AngkorThom & Ta Prohm

We had 2 full days of visiting a number of temples in the area learning about their history and significance to the Cambodian people. Our group consisted of my wife and I who were treated to a great guide called Voath.Voath was able to answer our questions very well.Unfortunately when we went to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat the weather was cloudy but that couldn’t be helped .Make sure you take your walking shoes it really is a packed day.

Recommend

My friend and I went on this tour on the 25th of December. San was a wonderful guide. He picked us up at our hotel and was really friendly. When telling us the history of Cambodia or of the area, he made sure we understood and answered any questions we may have had. On our boat ride through the fishing vilage, we got to visit the temple and saw the schools that had been set up there. The students were so eager to learn and did not shy away from having a conversation with us! The ride through the mangroves was relaxing. We had a lady who quietly sang as she took us through the trees, it was beautiful. Then we got to see a crocodile farm and San took fun pictures of us with a panoramic view of the area in the background. We had a great time and experience! Not only was San funny and friendly, the driver was as well. We also did stop for lunch afterwards at this beautiful restuarant but was not able to eat because the other two friends who were part of our tour group had a reservation back in town so, we decided to head back to Siem Reap. P.S. We went during the dry season so the river wasn't as full as it would be in the wet season but I would still recommend this tour.

Magical day!

I don´t like to manage my holidays beforehand, like I know alot of people like to do. I stumbled upon this tour mainly based on your reviews from here, and let me tell you, what an amazing treat. After having been told: "What are you going to do for a week in Siem Reap?, Angkor Wat is only one place". I got stressed about not having enough to do. This tour was so magical, so different and completely reassured me that there are gems to be sought. The serenity we experienced while being blessed by monks on the mountain top, seeing the big Buddha, the 1000 Linga carved in the river and finally the absolutely stunning waterfall you can swim under in the end, almost indescribable. The cherry on top was 100% the perfect and lively guidance from our guide, San "the Man" with the masterplan. A gentleman so filled to the brim with knowledge. Not only about the history of the place, but of archaeology, geology and an abundance of personal experience connected to the place. This tour is something that I would always recommend to everyone going to Siem Reap, and if you are fortunate enough to have San "the Man" as your guide, consider yourself lucky!
