The best of Angkor Temples in a day

Our day began with on-time pickup of the tour guide from our hotel. After picking-up few other guests, we went straight to Angkor Wat Tourist Center where we bought the day pass (USD 37). The tour sequence was nicely done since we started from the back of the temple where there are fewer people but where the interesting wall carvings are located. The guide's english narration was understandable, and he was able to explain important historical facts, and was also able to answer our questions completely. We finished the tour at Ta Prohm where the Tomb Raider movie was shot. Overall the guide was very friendly and helpful with all our needs. This tour is highly recommended if you want to experience the most important temples in Siem Reap for a day.

Ankor Watt sunrise and Day tour of temples.

From the moment we met San our tour guide for the sunrise tour and the day tour of the temples I knew it was going to be a good day. Gabrielle and I had a great experience of all these temples but made all the worthwhile with such an experienced tour guide who not only showed us some of the best parts of the temples he also took an interest in us and our welfare to make sure we were coping.San was great and gave us much insight into Cambodian history through out the ages.

Great day out! Great guide!

What a fantastic day. Our guide, Siya Pouv, was great, and very knowledgeable. He really took care of us. He knows the famous places, and also some quiet places, which were also amazing. I recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to see the most famous temples, and also some little extras, like the jungle walk to a deserted Bayon Gate, and the pyramid temple. Thank you Siya for a great tour.

Ankor Wat One day tour

We had a lovely time with our tour visiting the Ankor Temples, this was a full day tour and we saw many temples. It did rain during one of the temples we visited but the tour guide and driver were very organised and helpful as they brought us umbrella's and took good care of us. The Tour was a very good tour informing us of the history and culure of Cambodia. The tour guide was happy and answered questions we had so that was enjoyable. Food was lovely and plenty to eat. Its a good time to visit the Temples as it was not so busy and crowded as I imagine it could get. I would recommend booking with this tour as it is very good especially for what we paid.

Good value, knowledgeable tour guide.

Great full day, packed in a lot. Wish I had come 10-20 years ago when was less touristy.Good value, knowledgeable tour guide. The whole site is so massive need someone to guide you around. You could hire a tuc tuc for a full day but I dont think would be as good an experience as having a knowledgeable guide.

Full day small group Angkor temples tour review

I would thoroughly recommend Mr Van Lonh from Green Era Travel as a guide to the temples of Angkor. He speaks brilliant English and is passionate about the temples, which he knows inside out. We went to Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm temples on a full day tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, and he paced the tour perfectly. He knows all the best photo spots and tricks, and is very happy to take pictures on your behalf. He is also skilled at finding the quiet spots away from the crowds. This was an inexpensive tour (less than GBP 20 per person) but couldn’t have been better. There was a comfortable air conditioned minivan with free bottles of chilled water throughout the tour. We were picked up from our hotel at 7:45am and returned at 3pm. The guide even swiftly returned my husband’s mobile phone which he had accidentally left in the minivan! We’ve been to the Angkor temples before, with a tuk-tuk driver rather than a professional guide. It’s 100% preferable to have a guide, and you won’t find better than Mr Van Lonh.
