Amazing Tour

Had an amazing time seeing Ankor Wat, also being shown Bayon (the Temple of Smiling Buddhas), with commentary from Chaub. He's an extremely friendly and informative guide who is really making the experience. We're currently writing this review during lunch, but are very hopeful for the rest of the tour!

best tour guide

Our tour guide Phuy Phy was one of the best tour guide ever! Not only because he explained everything in full but he was a great photographer too. All the shots taken by Phy were wonderful and are FB /Instagram profile page calibre. I would recommend the tour agency and Phuy Phy to all my friends who would like to visit Siem Reap.

Enlightening day of beautiful ancient World Heritage temple sites

Have just completed the full day Small Group tour of temples in Siem Reap area. Having booked only yesterday, I was picked up promptly from my hotel, joining six other travellers in the modern, very comfortable minibus. Mr Voath (pronounce as per the English word what or the Khmer word wat) was our tour guide. He provided excellent information about Cambodia, Siem Reap and the history of these marvellous ancient temples. Mr Voath’s English skills are very good, and the tour was professionally conducted as well as very relaxed. Most importantly, we learned so much. Mr Voath really knows his history, and the places we visited were so much more interesting for learning about this. There was lots of (free) cold water available to counteract the heat and the pace was appropriate considering the heat and humidity. Tired and happy by day’s end (around 3pm) and much the wiser regarding Khmer history, culture and architecture. Let’s face it, if you are looking at Trip Adviser Siem Reap, you have already decided you will visit at least Angkor Wat. So do yourself a favour, pay a little bit more than budget price, book with Green Era, ask for Mr Voath, and have a great day.

Excellent Planning

The tour was extremely well thought out. The guide knew in what order to take the temples and we visited much more than I thought we would. We saw Angkor Wat with hardly any people there because it was the afternoon. I would take the heat over the crowds any day. Cold water was provided wherever needed and the guide took us to an excellent air conditioned restaurant for lunch (not included). The guide knew all the best places for photographs and took time to take excellent photographs for us so we didn't need to do selfies. In fact he knew his way around my phone camera better than I did. Explanations were clear but I could have done with a little more background information on Cambodian history. This is the only reason I have given the tour 4 stars rather than 5.

Great tour in Siem Reap.. Angkor Wat!

This tour is highly recommended & a ‘must’ do while in Siem Reap! Nak, our tour guide, is very informative & funny! He patiently waited & took around the nine visitors in this small group tour group with much gusto! He took everyone’s photos when requested & showed us different spots to take them. The tour is a exactly as we expected & much more! We were at the visitor center early enough to avoid the big tour buses of other tourists, to get our tickets/passes for the day. The rains didn’t dampen our spirits as it actually gave a nice cool breeze wherever we went. Siem Reap is a fantastic world heritage site to visit and Nak made it more exciting. Thanks you & more power to your company!
