Itinerary

Meet a driver at your hotel in Siem Reap for the scenic, 2-hour trip to Phnom Kulen Mountain, passing a landscape of tropical forest and rural communities in your air-conditioned vehicle.

The first stop of the day is a hilltop temple, where you’ll find a massive reclining Buddha carved directly into a sandstone boulder. Next, head to the River of a Thousand Lingas, exploring a riverbank adorned with ancient carvings of phalluses and Hindu gods.

Cool off at another sacred site, Phnom Kulen Waterfalls, which tumble into a wide basin that’s ideal for a midday swim or wade. Throughout the day, the guide will help bring the ancient sites to life by explaining their significance and symbolism, and you’ll have time to purchase lunch at a local restaurant before the return trip to Siem Reap.

Breathtaking & Spiritual Kulen Mountain ???????? Not to be missed

When we were met in reception and it was Nak again I was delighted. Again he made this trip come alive with his knowledge of history and culture. The drive was not too long and all along he highlighted points of interest and answered all my questions. The views of the Kulen national park were breathtaking. Nak made sure we found great spots for photos and that we were always safe. The visit to the monastery and the reclining Buddha was beyond my expectations. Nak gave me such a wonderful insight into Buddhism & Hinduism. The reclining Buddha gave rise to a lot of emotion for me very spiritual I felt privileged to have experienced it. Then we saw the amazing Kulen waterfall in full flow Wow ????. During the walk through the small market area Nak helped me experience some local food by explaining what it was and helping to buy. Fir anyone looking for a tour while in Cambodia I would thoroughly recommend you do this one and ask for Nak he’s worth his weight in gold ???????????????????????????????????? I can’t wait to come back

Great day

Great time! Very devoted and knowledgable guide, who happened to be a monk himself in the past! Whole trip was fun, we saw interesting places and swam in the huge waterfall (rainy season) only by ourselves :) Totally recommended

Exceptional Experience

Exceptional experience! Starting from the great viewpoints on the way going through ancient temples all the way to the waterfall! All these guarantee good time and great memories. We had an organized trip with a guide named “Nak Chum” who was very professional and knowledgable. He got us waterfall tickets for cheaper prices as a start, took us to all hidden photography view points and explained the religious sites thoroughly, not to mention that he managed to choose the best time to visit the waterfalls which caused us having the waterfalls just for us. I highly recommend visiting Siam Reap and Phnom kulen waterfalls and even more recommend Having Nak as your tour guide

Great tour guide for Siem Reap

This tour is a must if you visit Siem Reap. Phnom Kulen is beautiful with a spiritual energy that can only be experienced. Our tour guide Nak was the best as he took us through the Temple, 1,000 Linga River and the waterfall. He was patient and never rushed us. We chose the private tour and he helped us understand the religion and culture of the Cambodian people. I would 100% recommend him and our drive Vong who expertly navigated the road up the mountain. If you are visiting Siem Reap, book this tour and ask for Nak. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing tour of Phnom Kulen

Our tour with Nak today was sublime! We were guided through the beautiful Phnom Kulen area and every step of the way Nak had interesting stories and facts to share with us. His timing was flawless as well, we always managed to get to prime spots before other tourists, leaving us time alone to soak in the grounding, spiritual energy around us. Additionally Nak guided us through the Buddhist traditions so that we could experience the temple as a local would. All the while, he was capturing photos of the moment, so that we would be able to keep and remember these cherished experiences! I would highly recommend using Nak as your guide! The tour itself was stunning and is a must to experience while you are visiting Siam Reap! Lastly, our driver, Vong, expertly navigated the roads up the mountain keeping us comfortable and safe. He made the logistics of our trip flawless and we would highly recommend him as well.
