Kulen Waterfall and 1000 Linga River Small-Group Tours from Siem Reap (6h)

We had a tour of Phnom Kulen Waterfall with Voath. The tour was very interesting, with Voath knowing everything we wanted to know about the area. Voath's English was excellent and every explanation given was clear. Swimming in the waterfall was a particularly fun highlight.

First timers in Cambodia, decided to book a trip to Kulen Waterfall and 1000 Linga river.Didn’t expected the tour to be so amazing, me and my partner got lucky to get Mr Lonh as our tour guide.Most friendly, chatty, with big knowledge guide definitely not to be missed and highly recommended. On the way to waterfalls he showed us and explained everything starting from situation in Cambodia after covid, before covid (history, agriculture, lifestyle, got to see Rice fields and experience the harvest of rice, try local food) finishing with explanation about religion. If stayed longer would definitely go on more tours with him!

Myself and my partner booked a private day trip with Mr Van Lonh, after arriving to Cambodia for the very first time, we planned to visit the waterfalls however mr lonh took us to the reclining Buddha statue as well which was amazing. Mr Lonh picked us up direct from our villa with his driver, he is extremely knowledgeable in a lot of areas due to his background as a farmer / construction worker / family man and lifelong Buddhist as well as tourist qualifications and along the way in the car taught us a lot about Cambodia history and current lifestyle after the COVID outbreak, Nothing was too much trouble for him and his driver, they did not rush us during our swim in the water falls and during lunch and is very respectful along with stopping at any moment to teach us farming techniques at the side of the road There were both very friendly and made us feel very welcome on the trip, more like friends than tourists Mr Lonh wade this trip very memorable and I would highly recommend the private tour if you would like to further your knowledge of the Cambodian history and country

For those interested in exploring this place,here’s a few things I wanted to share: 1. The 1000 lingas are visible only when the waters are shallow. So please check with locals on that. 2.if you are a practising Hindu, you will be amazed to see the beautiful depiction of your dieties-Bramha ,Vishnu, Lakshmi and Shiva on the river bed. 3. The jungle has a very mystique vibe. We loved the trek through the forest and the freshwater spring. 4. You can leave the mountain only after 12pm(one way traffic).so plan your itinerary accordingly.

Fantastic day at Kulen Mountain! Enjoyed the temple, cliff lookout and of course the waterfalls! Nak, our guide was the best… so informative, funny, patient and helpful (request if you can, trust me).

Just finished the most amazing day in Siem Reap with our tour guide Nak and driver Borey. So hard to pick out a favourite part of this experience. Dense tropical vistas, cultural experience with Buddhist monks, Cambodian food, but my favourite part was swimming in the waterfall below the lingam in the river. Feeling truly blessed today! Highly recommend everything, our tour guide Nak spoke excellent English and was very knowledgable.

An amazing experience and highly recommend this tour!!!! Our guide, Nak, and driver, Borey, were so kind and funny!! Learned alot today and Nak was so knowledgeable!! A great photographer too!! Both the waterfall and 1000 linga river was beautiful and awesome!! He was always making sure everyone in the group was taken care of. A day full of laughs and learning about Cambodia!! What an experience - especially with NaK as our tour guide. He was very thorough, informative and made the day super fun. Would recommend NaK and our driver - if we could book another excursion in Siem Reap it would definitely be with NaK.
