Siem Reap to Phnom Penh by Private Car or Minivan (5h)

Our driver picked us up from hotel in Siem reap and took us directly to hotel in Phnom Penh with a couple of interesting stops in the way, lovely comfortable van and air conditioned. He provided water on the way and a snack.

The ride from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh was smooth by private cab. Last minute reservations were no problem and pickup was on time.

Our driver, Veth, was absolutely perfect. He was on time, helpful, and kind! He made sure we knew he would stop for anything at any time. He gave us helpful historic information about the country and answered all questions we had. We had an excellent lunch on the way and he provided water for the drive. Our 5 hour journey from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh was made delightful by our lovely guide and driver. Traveling with this company made our journey easy, safe, and fun :)

The driver was nice, the car was old but comfortable, and he drove safely. There were a few issues, though. He arrived about five minutes late for pickup without acknowledging it, but that’s no big deal. At the first stop he asked how long I wanted to stop for, and I said just 10 minutes for a bathroom break and drink. While I was doing that, he ordered lunch and walked around taking video selfies, and I waited in the car. He was very apologetic, but could have just said beforehand that he wanted a longer break. Before the trip, I asked to stop at Skun spider market. He said ok, but then stopped at a small roadside stall and told me that was it (I knew it wasn’t because I’d been there twice before). I had to show him where it was on Google Maps. Overall it was a safe and comfortable trip, but my suggestion is to not rely on the driver for communication, and be prepared to navigate for yourself.

Took this private taxi to Phnom Penh and my driver Rechhart was great. Nice smooth and safe trip. He was even 10mins early which was great. I totally recommend this trip as I'm tired of the hassle and stress of airports. Door to door service with no fuss.

Great communication, perfectly on time. Safe driver, considerate to our comfort, did not exceed speed limits, offered plenty of opportunity to stop if required and picked a nice restaurant for a meal break. Highly recommended

Yesterday we travelled from Siem reap to Phnom Penh by private car.Communication prior excellent, first via booking service, then whats app. Daryl, our driver was early, car was super comfortable with individual recliner seats and loads of leg room. Daryl was an extremely safe driver, spoke excellent English and we learnt a lot about Camdodia, history and life. Daryl offered any photo and toilet breaks we wanted. We stopped at the bridge, lunch and cricket market. Please bring small local currency for toilet and cricket market. We didn't gave any, but Daryl helped us out, also with communicating with store holders.Our whole trip was 6 & 1/4 hours.Compare the comfort, time and knowledge gained to a flight. Give this trip a try. It is well worth it, ask for Daryl as a driver.
