We booked this tour for the middle of our visit to Siem Reap, in order to avoid temple fatigue. It was perfect - something completely different. Our guide, Mr Lonh, was happy to talk about current Cambodia (interesting in context with all the history we'd been learning at the temples) and was very friendly with other folks along the way, making our group feel at home at the market and in the village. We didn't do the canoe tour for an additional cost - we are not strong swimmers and that looked way too close to the water - but we enjoyed going straight out to the endpoint on the tour boat and getting a nice coconut juice while looking at the lake and the people. This is a unique village, and we felt fortunate to get a glimpse of this way of life. Note that people with mobility issues may want to call and ask about accommodations, there is a bit of climbing in and out of boats. We had no difficulty, I only mention it because I didn't see it mentioned in other reviews.

Did the half-day kompong phluk, tonle sap lake tour with green era from Siem Reap. Pick up was punctual at 2pm. Great tour guide- Phrom, who was informative and made sure we very comfortable with water etc during our trip. Really enjoyed seeing the houses on stilts and learning how the local people make a living. Tour finished around 5pm and the driver dropped as at the killing fields museum which was kind. Great photos. I recommend this tour!

We had a great day with Mr Phearom. He was very knowledgable about Cambodian history and the temples that we visited. Would definitly recommend this tour!

Van Lonh was wonderful! Fun, informative, and professional. We enjoyed the tour of Angkor Wat and Paphrom. When we return, we will be reaching out to Van Lonh for another tour. Great experience!

Tour guide was very friendly and informative and spoke great English. Was flexible and the group was only 3 people so we got to spend a lot of time at the locations without being rushed

Our tour guide, San was a very knowledgeable and informative guy, he can well explained the history of Angkor Wat kingdom to us and you are feel free to ask if you have any queries, he also brought us to a good restaurant for local Khmer lunch. Overall, I did have a pleasant and enjoyable day trip.

Vanlonh, our tour guide, made this tour an easy, interesting experience. We were staying in a place that couldn’t be accessed with the van. Vanlonh had to walk down an alley to get us. He went over and beyond by planning our visit so we could experience the attractions according to our energy level - morning for our longest walk, etc. He showed us where to take the best pictures and volunteered to take our pictures, as well. Vanlonh was a very personable guide with a wonderful sense of humour. I highly recommend him!
