3-Day Majestic Angkor Wat, Siem Reap and Tonle Sap Lake Tour (3-Day)

We had an absolutely wonderful tour of Angkor Wat - we decided to add Beng Mealea as an extra, for an additional but entirely justified and reasonable fee. We had Bunchhoub as a tour guide, and Mr. Khen as a driver. Both were excellent and we were lucky to be in their hands. Bunchhoub was incredibly knowledgeable and his enthusiasm was simply infectious. He shared with us so much of his knowledge of Angkor Wat (and all things Cambodia, more generally). He is clearly a very smart and intellectually curious man. We had a ton of questions, which he patiwntly and expertly answered. His English was very good. To top it up, we are bilingual (English and Spanish), and it turns out his Spanish is excellent too. So we got to talk to him in Spanish too, which was a ton of fun. He was also very good at figuring out what made us tick, and took us to temples that were less crowded and quieter - very much our thing. Mr. Khen, on top of being a very good and safe driver, was delightful to talk to and always kind, attentive, and helpful. In short, we had a wonderful time and felt we really made the most of our 3 days in Siem Reap thanks to Bunchhoub and Mr. Khen.

This 3 days tour is perfect, there’s no rush, got to stroll at my own pace. Han is an awesome guide, speaks English really well, shared a lot on the history and timeline of Siem Reap and even the daily lifestyle of locals here. He is not just simply doing his job, he is showing a lot of passion and knowledge, humbly. It’s totally worth it. I’m amazed by Cambodia.

Siela was our guide for three days he helped us explore the temples and explained very clearly their history! And was happy to expand on details when we needed it! He was very considerate to chose times to visit for our comfort in the heat and for the beauty of the temples, Our last day was on Tonle Sap lake to see the very special way of life of these villagers ,living in houses on stilts ! it was refreshing on the water!! Our guide Prin Vath and driver Phearin were amazing and made that trip memorable! We had a very confy 4x4 car with aircon and cold water all the way through. They organised the visit so that we avoid the crowd, Prin spoke perfectly english and was incredibly knowledgable about Angor and all the temples. Aside from that, we learned a lot about the Cambodian life, about his family, traditions and beliefs. Phrearin was happy stopping everywhere to take pictures of villages and animals on our way.Both made this trip exciting and unforgetable! Thank you so much!!!

I emailed Green Era Travel before my trip to see if I could just do 2 days of temples with a private guide and then join a half day group tour to the floating village. Was no problem and saved me money since I figured I don’t need a private tour for the lake. They were very helpful and quick to respond to my emails. The 2 days of temples were wonderful! I am glad I spread it out over 2 days since we never managed to go a full day. The first day we got caught in the rain in the afternoon and the second day I was too exhausted by the afternoon to see any more temples. Since my first day was a Sunday, I asked my guide to swap days and do the more crowded small circuit tour on Monday when it’s less busy. I could not have been happier with my guide and my driver. My guide Tuok Borain was fantastic. It was like exploring temples with a good friend who is also extremely knowledgeable about history. His English is great so you can actually have full conversations and a lot of fun.And I usually hate having pictures taken while I’m a sweaty mess but he kept insisting on taking pictures of me with my phone and knew exactly where the best photo spots were. In the end I was so glad he insisted because a lot of the photos turned out great and now I have wonderful memories of my trip. Our driver was also wonderful. He had a cooler in the trunk stocked with water bottles and made sure at each stop that I got a new bottle. I was sweating so much, I must have been drinking 10 bottles each day, haha. And on the first day my phone battery died before the last temple. So the second day he brought an iPhone adapter for his power bank. I had read a lot of reviews and had a very hard time deciding what package to book with which company. In the end, I am so happy with what I chose and highly recommend it. I always knew I didn’t want to explore the temples with a group tour and if I would have tried to explore the temples by my myself, I would have had to have my nose in a guide book the entire time and I still would have missed a lot.

Our family of 6 had a great and memorable time here in Siam Reap with this 3 day tour. The pacing was perfect and very educational. What made this tour very special was our tour guide, Borain Touk, who took very extra care of each one of us and is very knowledgeable about the places that we go to. Borain was very kind, humble and patient with us as we love to take pictures and he would always be on hand to tell us where are the best place to take those memorable pictures and would explain the history of every detail. My children would often have many questions and he will take time to answer them. He and our driver(whose name I forgot to get) would always offer us water and cold towel after every stop. For a seasoned traveler like us (we take a tour once every 4 months) I would say that Borain is one of the best guides we have ever encountered. I would highly recommend him.

We are not usually travelers who engage a tour guide, preferring to read up on local history and points of interest ourselves. But with limited time in Siem Reap, we decided that we'd be best served by asking a local company to help us prioritize our time. Our guide was quite knowledgeable about a range of subjects - from Cambodia's distant past and the various forces shaping the creation and use of the historic sites we visited, to recent history and particularly local knowledge built up from years of helping foreigners navigate Siem Reap. He was a patient, professional and engaging companion on our journeys, ensuring that everything went smoothly and that we were able to have ample time to tour the temples, hospitals, and other buildings that make up the historic site. His willingness to delve deeply into the history of the sites and even try to teach us a bit of Khmer made our experience of the temple sites and Tonle Sap so much richer and more memorable than we could have ever gotten on our own. We are an old couple above 65 years age from India. We were shy of visiting Cambodia Angkor temples in Siem Reap. On internet we booked Green Era travel for assisting us. They reputed one guide named Mr. Lonh along with a comfortable vehicle. We visited all temples, will farm and Kulen mountains in 3 days. The service, the knowledge, behaviour and care of Lonh was excellent. He made us feel at home during entire stay.
