A great day exploring the temples

I had a really lovely day exploring the main highlights of Siem Reap. There were only 5 of us in our group tour which was a perfect size and our guide Sarat was absolutely fantastic - very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke wonderful english. He was also great at taking us to the quieter spots at the temples away from the hoards of loud tourists. The van that was our transport for the day was brand new with great air con, and there were always plenty of bottles of cold water available (it was really needed in this heat!). The tour as great value for money.

A terrific temple tour in Siem Reap

This was our second time to Siem Reap and we'd previously visited Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples, but with just a driver, not a guide. This time, we decided it'd likely be a better experience with a guide and so based on good online reviews, we booked with Green Era. We were picked up on time from our hotel and our group size was only five so it felt almost like a private tour - the van air-con was good (bonus!) and we were always being offered ice cold water bottles from the onboard icebox. It was a fantastic experience to visit the temples and hear about their history - some of the temples can be extremely busy with tourists but having a guide really helped, especially in terms of the best photo spots - our guide Sarat was fantastic; very knowledgeable, helpful and above all, eager and enthusiastic. The temples (a UNESCO site) truly are stunning and this tour was the perfect way to see several of the main temples. NB - as with all Siem Reap temple tours, you will also need to buy a park permit to visit them ($37 USD for one day, or longer options are also available)

Thanks Han for a great tour!

Our tour guide Han had amazing knowledge of visible things in the Wats, but he also gave vast information of construction works and engineering skills people had thousands of years ago. Highly recommend using a tour guide services in Angkor Wat, it is worth the money!

Great Day with Phearom from Green Era Tours!

My wife and I booked the Full Day Angkor Wat Tour the night before online on TA. The confirmation came through immediately and we were collected by minibus from the lobby of our hotel the next morning. There were 8 of us on the tour along with our guide Phearom and our driver. Phearom’s humour, knowledge and patience in showing us the 3 major temples made this tour really enjoyable. The temples are amazing but very busy, hot and tiring so having a professional guide was really worthwhile and we are also given time to explore on our own. Phearom took care of us the whole day, made sure we had plenty of cold water, got the best photos, delivered and collected us for lunch from a local nearby restaurant and dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the day. It was nice to be part of a small group rather than on our own and interesting to meet the other people taking the tour who were all really nice. Phearom not only told us about the history of the temples but also about Cambodia’s more recent history and life today in the country. We were really glad we booked this tour. Sorry for the late review Phearom. I owe you a beer!

Lonh does a great tour

Lonh has put together an amazing day trip, covering all the essential Angkor highlights. His excellent knowledge of history and services. He was able to customise the tour to suit the group and avoid the worst of the crowds so we could see the most of the temples. His friendly nature and humor made the day more memorable. Well done, Lonh.
