Itinerary

Meet your driver at your Siem Reap hotel, then ride in an air-conditioned vehicle to Angkor Archaeological Site. Purchase an admission ticket before continuing to Banteay Srei, often called the “Citadel of Women.” Here, you’ll see a series of three central towers carved from pink sandstone that have remarkable craftsmanship and detail.

Next, continue back to the main part of Angkor Archaeological Site, pausing in the village of Preah Dak along the way to browse handicrafts made by locals. After a break for lunch (own expense), head to Eastern Mebon, a temple built in the heart of the Eastern Baray, once an artificial lake. The final temple stops of the day are Prasat Neak Pean and Preah Khan, each fascinating sites located off the main Angkor traveler circuit. Memorable tour of other temples than Angkor Wat fro Siam Reap

Amazing tour and the best tour guide we have ever had. Voath Vinh was very knowledgeable, informative and accomodating. He was able to explain the history of Cambodia, the temples and inscriptions in details without being overwhelming. Very pleasant ride in a clean, air conditioned car with cold bottled water available at all times. As a group of 2 we had plenty of time to explore at our own pace, mingle with locals and take photos at any point and place we requested. Extremely professional and friendly both the guide and driver. Thanks Green Era Travel, you made us leave Siem Reap with great impressions and memories.

A Must Do Excursion!

Everyone comes here to see Angkor Wat and therefore books the full day excursion to visit Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm (Tomb Raider I) temples. We did, and loved them! Reading some reviews, I stumbled across the full-day Banteay Srei, Preah Dak Tour and I am so glad I did! San, our tour guide, without a doubt is knowledgeable not only about the temples, history, methods of construction and Cambodia but what shone beyond his vast knowledge was his passion for this wonderful heritage. A remarkable tour made even more so because of San. Our driver, Kane, was curtious, prompt and manoeuvred us safely on the bouncy out-of-city roads. The mid-point lunch was super and very reasonable. But the highlight of our stay in Siem Reap was Banteay Srei ... yes, for us it is even more spectacular than Bayon! We were lucky today, a bonus ... this is not such a known visit therefore less crowded, better photo opportunities, and a smaller group ratio. My recommendation, buy a 3-day pass to the complex and book this tour ... ask for San as your guide. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Alternate temple tour

Excellent tour of the other temples in Siem Reap. Booked as a solo traveller and had Mr Gncan Tork as a guide to myself. We visited Preah Khan, Neah Poan, East Mebon, Benteay Srei and Pre Rup Temples. Tork provided a fantastic insight to the history of each temple and the connection between the temples. Fantastic driver and guide - would definitely recommend

Tour with San

I had a private day tour with San. We visited the Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Banteay Srei and Pre Rup temples. San was a great tour guide, telling me lots about Angkor Wat and Cambodia‘s history and people. I would highly recommend booking a tour with him! Thank you, San! Rebecca

Great tour along the temples

We were father and son doing the tour along the different temples and San and his driver were the best. They managed to gave us the best experience possible. Even San, our tour guide, managed to call one of his students to explain some things to us in Spanish for a better understanding as we are from Peru. 100% recommended.

Great Temples Outside Siem Reap

We had a wonderful guide that took us to some of the out of the way temples. It was so interesting to hear the stories of the country from someone who experienced both the good and bad from his country. Out of all the temples in Siem Reap, my husband liked the “medical temple” the best. It was amazing to talk about the medicines of those times. He even showed us the bark used to treat malaria and tasted it! We would not have gone to this temple without this tour, and it was the most interesting. The lunch was delicious and only $7. Highly recommend.

Unique "pink" temple

This is a little bit ways off the city of Siem Reap but it is worth the drive. It is not a very large temple but it is unique in a way that the stones have a pink hue. The bas relief and sculptures are exquisite and fairly well preserved and very rich looking. The water in the moat affords a reflection of the temple when pictures are taken low but the water was a little dirty and murky when we visited and did not give me the effect that I was looking for.

Great tour and good value!

I had a very good tour with Green Era. I was a solo traveler and booked the Banteay Srei tour. I received a private guide, Mr. Van Lonh, all to myself. He was very knowledgeable and super friendly. I had previously done a small group tour of Angkor Wat and other temples through a different company, but this tour was better and about the same price (factoring in the ticket cost), and I had the tour guide all to myself. Mr. Lonh was very knowledgeable about the history of the different temples, and I highly recommend him. The driver, Mr. Khem, was very friendly as well, and he made sure that I was kept well supplied with water during the day. The company also supplied a great air conditioned car for the tour -- very nice for the long-ish drive to Banteay Srai. I actually preferred the temples on this tour over the standard ones (Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom area), because there were fewer tourists so it was a more tranquil experience.
