Itinerary

Meet a driver at your hotel in Siem Reap for the scenic, 2-hour trip to Phnom Kulen Mountain, passing a landscape of tropical forest and rural communities in your air-conditioned vehicle.

The first stop of the day is a hilltop temple, where you’ll find a massive reclining Buddha carved directly into a sandstone boulder. Next, head to the River of a Thousand Lingas, exploring a riverbank adorned with ancient carvings of phalluses and Hindu gods.

Cool off at another sacred site, Phnom Kulen Waterfalls, which tumble into a wide basin that’s ideal for a midday swim or wade. Throughout the day, the guide will help bring the ancient sites to life by explaining their significance and symbolism, and you’ll have time to purchase lunch at a local restaurant before the return trip to Siem Reap.

Fantastic trip. Must do. A nice mix of temple visits and hikes. And a nice break from the hustle and bustle of town. The waterfalls are awesome. Go with your swim suit. It is can’t miss and lots of fun. Please ask for Phy. He is very knowledgeable and a great person to spend time with.

Words...do not do this one justice.

Embark on a journey and discovery into the most spectacular day of waterfalls and views beyond your imagination. It's all very safe...but so much fun.. Walk out to the edge of the cliff and look down on the world...see the temple on the mountain and carvings in the river before getting to swim in the waterfall. We stopped at a restaurant and local stall on the way back...all very nice. Take a towel....and change of clothes and some cash to hire a locker to store your stuff while you swim

Amazing experience

We had a wonderful time with our guide Phy and his driver. They did a great job. The whole trip is well worth taking. The highlight is the waterfall and very refreshing. While visiting the sleeping Buddha Phy provided a lot of information in an entertaining way. And if you need someone to take pictures and videos, just ask him :-) Highly recommended trip!
