Very good service

We booked a 2 days Phnom Penh and 5 days Siem Reap (Angkor Wat, etc) tour and we are very happy with the service provided by Green Era Travel. We also booked airport transfer with them. We were provided with good and comfortable vehicles. The guide were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. In Phnom Pehn, Panha was our guide and in Siem Reap, we had Sarat as our guide. A big thumbs up to both of them.

Half Day Kompong Phluk tour

Went on an interesting tour of Kompong Phluk - a floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. Truly a place worth visiting as it is such a unique way of life and to see how the village functions on a daily basis. We didn't feel it was too much of a tourist trap - we got asked once to buy books for children but otherwise the village residents largely ignored us, which was nice. You get the opportunity to visit the village Pagoda and also to go on a paddle boat through the Mangroves. Sen was a fab tour guide, very informative and friendly. Tour lasted 0830-1400.

Angkor Wat Tour

We had a great experience with our tour guide to Angkor Wat. He was very informative and pleasant. Knew the history of the temples, and made sure we were all safe at all times.

Kinda a good ! But not the best tour I have been honestly

The tour was good ! The van was comfortable. They picked us up from the hotel Wouldn’t say is the best tour we had You get on a boat and they take you to the village. That’s about it ! When you get there there is spot where you can chose to get on a traditional vietunamese with boat with a local woman or CHILD ! The charge is 5 dolars and they will stop half way where there is spot of locals people selling bananas , sweets ( Tourist Trap Alert) Some child or women will say “buy your poor driver a bunch of bananas “ The bananas probably cost around 2 -3 dolars . We didn’t buy and the women that drove us wasn’t exactly pleased! Started saying things in her language ... possibly swearing lol , hey ho !!! I would buy for a child if I felt they needed but I saw one saying “give a dolar Sir so I can go to school “ I personally don’t support child labour and the children get motivated not to go to school if you give them money. The kids take the bananas back to the seller anyway as I saw later that day ! Last about 15 mins for her to paddle around some trees .

Angkor Wat

It was well organized and plan. Our tour guide has answered my questions thoroughly. Our tour guide was informative and cleary very interested the history of Angor time. Best part was Angkor Thom. The time went by quickly. I think having more visual pictures of how Angkor was centuries ago would add to the discussion.

Angkor Wat

Our guide San was very kind and knowledgeable about the sites we visited. We were very thankful for the cold waters and clean, air conditioned van. Our driver was very good...he drove safely and was right there when we were ready for him. Our only concern was it was very busy at each site and we had a hard time getting the pictures we wanted and staying up with the group to get the historical information.

Very Informative and authentic tour of Angkor and Tonle Sap

Our tourguide Mr. San did an excellent job guiding us through Angkor and the floating village Kampong Phluk on the Tonle Sap in the „2 days Best of Angkor“ Tour. His considerate, profound and professional explanations allowed us go dive into the cultural, religious and political aspects of the Cambodian/Khmer history and better understand the background and genesis of the temples nd buildings.

Great Deal for A day Tour

This was recommended to me by a friend and so I gave it a try. Jeff from Green Era was really responsive of my emails before my trip and have been very accomodating until the tour day. You will visit about 4 temples and on a day that is fair enough. I joined a small group tour and paid $18. Our tour guide was good in English and was very informative. However, he seems to be rushing us when he kept insisiting for us to just head back home since the sunset at Angkor Wat was not going to happen because of the ensuing rain. Altho he was right after all, I wished he did not have to asked about 10x whether we want to wait or not when we already said we’ll wait. Apart from that everything else was great.

A quiet, interesting visit, with a unique guide! ** Découverte intéressante et rafraîchissante, avec un guide unique!

I was afraid that could be a tourist trap, but the trip was well worth it. The guide (Van Lonh) and the British couple I was with were so funny and easy-going, I really felt as if with friends. Van Lonh is one of his kind: if you can, definitely book with him! He's definitely the best guide I had in Cambodia. He's kind, helpful, interesting, and hillarious... you just can't get bored. He's not just bringing you from place to place: he's part of the experience! The trip was refreshing, the visit more than interesting, and really worth it: this was a "half day" visit, but it lasted as long as the other "full day" tours I booked. Just get ready to pay an extra 5$ if you want a drive in the mangrove (not that fascinating, in my opinion...)
